«It was clean, beds were comfortable and there were many unexpected extras like coffee, snacks, water. Beer and soda for purchase, qtips, cotton balls,, body wash, shampoo and cream rinse, makeup remover pads, toothpaste and toothbrushes. Also plenty of toilet paper and very easy to get into. Having a light on the porch is fantastic because I’ve arrived at other places at night like this time and there was no light so you’re digging for your phone to turn the flashlight on. «Great communication, had a couple of leaks and shower flooded but the maintenance came right away to fix it. Overall clean, AC/Heat unit in each room, big kitchen, wonderful sitting area and decor.»

«Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere.
