The Space:

The Mainsail is a unique tiny container home handcrafted by CargoHome™ in Waco. This charming property features 1 bedroom and a spacious living area with a large couch, accommodating up to 4 guests. The super comfy Tuft & Needle queen mattress ensures a restful night's sleep. The design combines modern aesthetics with cozy comfort, making it a perfect getaway.



The rooftop deck is a standout feature, beautifully illuminated at night, ideal for stargazing or enjoying a morning coffee. The full-size, custom-tiled shower and spacious bathroom add to the overall appeal of this delightful home. Originally a 40' shipping container, The Mainsail has been transformed with insulated pine shiplap interiors and cedar siding on the exterior, allowing the original container to be visible.

The rental was nicely decorated; however, it could’ve been cleaner as the couch had some sticky drips of drinks. The couch was mismatched for the space available was large enough to actually sleep an adult if needed. The rental could sleep 3. The hot tub was so relaxing, although we did have to ask them to come clean it before we could use it. We were within walking distance of the Homstead, which was the highlight and reason for our trip in the first place. It was not a bad stay.

Cutest little home

My husband and I stayed here for one night. It was clean and had everything we needed. Getting to the location was easy as the owners communicated how to get there in a very detailed manner so we couldn’t miss it. My only suggestion would be installing lights at the property entry so it’s easier to spot at night. The bed was VERY comfortable, something we have had issues with in the past at other rentals but not here, we slept great! The upstairs deck was so magical at night with comfy chairs and games. Entry/check in was seamless as was check out. We appreciated how well the owners communicated all details with us and presented everything in such an organized manner. Also the location was of the home just so happened to be right next to a coffee/breakfast spot, craft village, and resturant which made breakfast, lunch, and dinner options a breeze. We had a great time here and if we are ever in Waco again, we will definitely be back. Thank you!

Great stay!

Bigger then I had expected it to be. The above patio was definitely a hit for my son and I. We had a blast playing corn hole, board games, and stargazing. The location was next to heritage homestead which turned out to be a fun surprise! We would definitely come back!

Adorable tiny house Village!

These storage container tiny homes are SO cute and located super close to The Magnolia Market at the Silos. The whole property is adorable and family friendly. There is a coffee shop, cheese shop, bbq restaurant, general store & a lot more all within walking distance and plenty of little trails. Overall, it was a fun family getaway and definitely a repeat vacay! The owners were extremely attentive and helpful our entire stay. We were very pleased.

A gem north of Waco

Came to Waco to visit the Homestead community. This little gem is right next door and I think they may be owned by the community. It was just what we needed. We were curious about this type of tiny home. I used to work for a trucking company that handle these type of containers. Very comfortable! Enjoyed our time spent visiting the community. So much to see and learn about. Would definitely book again. The host was in contact with us daily via text or email. Just 10 minutes from Waco. We did spend time in Cameron Park before checking in. Thanks for a great experience!

This was the perfect overnight trip for our family of 4. We love trying out different tiny houses, and this one was very cute. Yes, the road is a little loud from the roof, but we didn't hear it at all from inside. The kids loved the rooftop games while we drank our coffee this morning. Thank you!

Great spot for a getaway!

This was a great spot for a getaway. The property was far enough away from Waco to feel relaxing and remote, but close enough to take in the local restaurants and activities. As a bonus it is literally right next door to the Homestead Heritage farm with its activities and cafe. The house was impeccably clean and super comfortable. I highly recommend it as a place to relax and recharge.

Super cute & great rooftop!

My best friend (and her infant daughter) & I stayed here for a girl’s trip. We loved the tiny house! It was super clean & so cute! Everything we needed was available - very “thought through”! The rooftop was the best! Property manager was readily available & so nice! Didn’t love being so close to a busy road while hanging out on the rooftop, but that’s the only time we noticed the traffic noise. We’d come back for sure!

Chill and Relaxing Getaway

Staying at this tiny house was such a joy and uniques experience. Each detail was thoughtful, and such a clean place. Wish we could have stayed longer! The owners communicated quickly, and thoroughly explained their expectations of check in and check-out. Definitely worth the money!
