«Came up to the UP for a weekend ski trip and this year despite the lack of snow had a good day of skiing at Snow River in sweatshirts! The campfire Lodge was perfect for our family of 6. The bedrooms are close together upstairs, which is fine for a family and great to have two bathrooms. The kitchen is very nice and the dining area was great for playing cards. Loved having a large sectional so we could all laugh about our day. We will definitely come back. Location is perfect at Powderhorn ...

«We had such a wonderful couple days of peaceful serenity while staying at the Hannu Haus. There were do many special touches to the decor that added to the warmth & coziness of the log cabin. It had plenty of space to entertain and well thought out ideas for keeping children occupied. The coffee bar was exceptionally awesome and we all enjoyed the great coffee beverages that the Jura made!! I would give the Hannu -Hause 10 stars!! We hope to come back again!!»

«The cabin was absolutely great! It was very clean. If you have kids, they have a baby gate, pack & play and booster seat. They even had supplies for your pup. The sauna was great and got nice and hot. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. The hosts were very quick to respond.»

«We were very happy with our stay at the Nordic Haus. Check in and out was very easy. It’s nice to have a hot tub to soak in and gives the kids something to do at night because skiing closes by 4pm. The only thing was it says it’s 6 bedroom but it’s only 5 bedroom and then has two beds in the loft. The loft is basically part of the living room so we couldn’t have anyone sleep in those beds or they would be kept awake at night by the noise and then woke up early with any early risers making coffee ...

«Great location, near Ski Brule - 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive. The house worked out well for me and my extended family. We rented the upper and lower units. It was very clean and had everything we needed to make meals. It was also nice to have two fridges. We would definitely stay here again!»

«The property was cozy and clean, nestled in the trees and only a short walk to the ski resort. The sauna was a nice bonus and easy to use. We had a little trouble connecting to the smart tv, but the handful of DVDs fit our entertainment needs and were a fun throwback. Laurie was a responsive and kind host.»

«The chalet was exactly as advertised. There is plenty of room for everyone. We liked that there were plenty of extra supplies that people normally forget (tinfoil, garbage bags, etc.). The Nintendo and ping pong table kept the kids busy. The one negative is that the cabin echoes A LOT. You can definitely hear whomever wakes up first. That, though, would not keep us from coming back.»

«We had a fantastic time staying at the Timbuktu Chalet. The location is great - very close to multiple ski areas, incredible hiking, and lake Superior destinations. The place itself was clean, no fuss, kitchen was fully stocked, and we made use of both the hot tub and sauna! Aaron was a fantastic host, and even gave us homemade jam as a Christmas surprise.»

«We enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking could be a bit challenging. We preferred this accommodation for privacy and the ability to relax and make coffee and eat breakfast in the cabin. The only misunderstanding was the cleaning fee having to be handled over the phone because there is NO OFFICE at the location and the phone number was with a person at another hotel, who was managing the fee. »
