«This looks to be a house that was converted to an inn. Our room had a bedroom, bathroom and another room with couch, tv, fireplace. Plenty of room. The configuration was odd…we had three doors into our room, one led from the house’s kitchen into our bathroom. Keep that one locked. The property was clean and comfortable, just in need of a little fixing up. The owner is very accommodating. «This is a lovely place to stay if you're looking for a quiet historic lodging offering basic rooms and a pretty lame continental breakfast. This is not a luxury venue, but the beds are comfortable, bathrooms have been nicely updated and there is a TV, coffee maker, and a small fridge in each room. The walls are thin and noise does travel. The website is very accurate in its depiction of the building and grounds. There's no pool, no tennis courts, no outdoor seating and no particular tourist ...

First, of note, was the very (!) comfortable bed , thoughtful amenities --including a TV with streaming subscriptions all loaded. along with added space to settle in the sitting room which had a fridge and freezer. «While the Inn was very clean, the room had a few problems: broken blinds, missing drawer handles, holes in towel, etc. The pictures on line show the gorgeous bar which only opens a few days a week, not when we were there, and the self check-in was a bit tricky as we received the wrong code 2x. «I was a vendor at the Harbor Fest in Oswego and stayed here for 4 nights. I arrived at 3:00PM and was aware that check in was at 4:00PM, however the gentleman that greeted me, Robert said it was no problem with the early check in.
