«Right on the beautiful Bayou. Wonderful views and close to Caddo Lake. Beds were comfortable and the family enjoyed staying here. Enjoyed kayaking on the Bayou. Would be really fun to bring a boat or wave runner/jet ski next time. Had a WiFi connection issue that was quickly resolved. Fresh cookies for us to enjoy when we arrived. «Perfect little swamp getaway, had an amazingly relaxing time. Boat launch is more than deep enough even at low pool, just be very careful of stumps and sudden shallows on the way to the main channel. Incredible scenery along the way. The four kayaks at the house work great for this too. Absolutely loved this place highly recommend it and will hopefully be back soon.»

«We were staying in a hotel in the Shreveport area and had problems with the noise level there. Luckily I found a last-minute opening and we moved to the Emerald Cove Cabin. The property is rustic and eclectic but offers modern comforts. Working during the day was great since the internet is solid enough for voip. The sounds of the surrounding wildlife from the screened porch in the evenings are amazing. Hope to stay again next time we visit!!»

«It was our 1 year anniversary and wanting to relax out of Dallas Metro area. It was quiet and the birds/squirrels were fun to watch. Owners of the outpost were helpful and a pleasure to visit with. When I messaged the property owners, they responded quick and were nice. However, the cabin we stayed in smelt a bit funky when we got there like mildew. The bathroom floor was gross sticky in front of the toilet and look around we felt we needed to give a good cleaning before we unpacked. Drove back ...
