Viking — a forest escape beside the lake

Stay in a distinctive Viking-style cabin at Rančo Gobas in Latvia. Enjoy views of the lake and forest from your own balcony, spend time outdoors and meet the animals in our park.

The cabin has a kitchenette, shower and toilet, heating and air conditioning. Bed linen and towels are provided. Sleeping spaces are arranged over two levels, with two mattresses upstairs and a sofa bed. Please check the guest limit shown in your booking.

Hot tub and animal park

The hot tub is an optional extra, subject to advance confirmation: €60 per evening from September 1 to May 31 and €70 per evening from June 1 to August 31. Sauna availability and its price are confirmed separately. Special packages have their own stated inclusions and prices.

Entry to our animal park is free for everyone from September 1 to May 31, including cabin guests. From June 1 to August 31, admission is €10 per person per day. Summer admission helps provide food for our animals throughout winter. Park hours: 08:00–22:00.

Practical information

Check-in from 15:00; check-out by 11:00. Fishing and additional activities are subject to the current on-site rules; confirm arrangements and any charges before use. Wi-Fi access details are provided privately to guests.

No smoking inside the cabin. Use only designated smoking and barbecue areas; no fires or smoking in the forest. Do not touch electric fences. Follow staff instructions around animals, supervise children and use protection against ticks and mosquitoes when exploring the forest.
