«Even if you ask for daily cleaning they don't make the bed or clean. They just clear the garbage cans and replace towels. Disappointed since I asked for this service. No air conditioning (no big deal in the spring but would not be a comfortable stay in the summer).»

«The Dashwood is a heritage building and obviously would have many challenges to maintain a top notch accommodation site. Along with being exceptionally clean Dashwood also does a very good job of keeping the authenticity of the building while adding modern improvements with a heritage touch (ie. new soaker tub, sink and toilet fit the look of an old fashioned bathroom). «They told me that there’s an upgrade to my room however it is not a harbour view. Then they said “their system made a mistake and gave my room to someone else”, and they can only offer me something not as good. And they call that an “upgrade”. I. The end, they called another guest and swapped our rooms. So I still get a room similar to what I booked - king bed in a suite, with harbour view. The room is fantastic. «Craig in the restaurant was the best server I’ve ever had! And Reid the shuttle guy was pretty awesome too! The views from the room were pretty nice, and our room wasn’t ready when we showed up like 45 mins after check in time, so we got upgraded to the 4th floor with an ocean view.»
