«House had everything we could possibly need or want to have a wonderful weekend. The screened porch was great for relaxing, kayaks were fun, nice little dock for fishing or stargazing. We even went for a swim! Perfectly clean and in good condition, and was near enough to go to Metropolis and Paducah for entertainment. There's a dollar store in Brookport for all of the items one inevitably forgets to pack. XD»

There were a large group of us and the house fit our needs perfectly while giving us an atmosphere that we could relax in and enjoy the natural beauty of Rough River. «The owner was very good at communicating. She made sure that the air matress we needed was already pumped up and made up before we got there. This was a huge added help for us, because we ended up getting in super late. The place was peaceful, clean, and gave a country vibe. I highly recommend this place.»

«Overall great visit and I would stay again. All communication was great and check in very easy. Inside was clean, well appointed, and in great shape. King bed we used was nice and comfortable. Although inside was great, outside was in need of a major cleaning. Lots of dirt, dead bugs, old spider webs and mud dauber nests everywhere on walls, windows and doors. «The Redbird Hideaway is a beautiful place to unwind with family. We drank out coffee each morning on the covered porch listening to birds. It was cozy without being crowded and close enough to mammoth cave and lake nolin for us to get some hiking and fishing in during our stay. Highly recommend.»

«Very cute renovated building. Just a couple steps away from the Merchentile...which has cute gifts, excellent ice cream and a very nice lady that manages it. Couple steps away to the covered landing over looking the Ohio river. Couple steps from a resturant. The tiny home had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!»
