Staff was very excellent. Location was perfect. The room was very good and the shower water pressure was very good. Nothing bad to say about this hotel. Note there are 4 or 5 flights of stairs. If that isn’t an issue then the place will be perfect. Babi was helpful with dining suggestions and she let us know about a transportation strike and prearranged a water taxi for our departure which would have been a disaster without her help.

We liked the decor of the bedrooms and the comfort of the bed. Barbara was very helpful in making suggestions and arranging reservations for us. Although we knew there were steps to our stay, we did not realize there were so many(our traveling partners had a hard time navigating the stairs). I would encourage anyone to stay here.

Barbara was lovely - very communicative from the outset, giving us clear directions on how to reach the property. Upon arrival she helped us plan an itenary and showed us a map of the city with some restaurant recommendations. The room was lovely and quaint, and location was central and perfect. I would absolutely stay here again!

This property is well located in the heart of Venice. Within walking distance from Rialto Mercato water bus station so it was easy to transfer from the train station. There are an abundance of restaurants, bars and gorgeous sites at your doorstep including local markets. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. There are three flights of stairs so be prepared to carry up your luggage. Hotel staff kindly assisted us with our bags. Breakfast was adequate however it appears to be first in first served as supplies were not topped up. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

It is not a hotel, this must be on Air BNB. Entrance is very sketchy, it is 2-3 bed apartment and they converted into so-called hotel.

Dear Sir, thank you very much for your kind feedback. Actually we are NOT a hotel, we are not included in the hotel section. La Villeggiatura is a b&b as clearly specify on the web-site you used to take your reservation along with all the details of the house including the fact that ours is a 16th century palace and that we have 6 rooms, not 2-3 as you wrote...I am very happy that you had a nice stay. Must Give It a Try.
If you are looking to enjoy how locals would live and without the need to do most of the daily routine yourself, this BNB is what you are looking for. The hotel manager was very helpful to tell you how one should go about travelling within the city. The on site attendent really attends to your needs. The breakfast is decent enough to last you throughout the day. This is something that we would recommend.

We - a family of four stayed there for one night. We received great hospitality. The front desk gave us great advice on our one night stay. The facility looks old from outside (well, this is Venice) but indoor is well maintained, updated, artistic with attention to details. Breakfast is a huge plus too.

Barbara was fantastik, very helpful. Unfortunately I don’t think the bathroom had been cleaned in a long time. The 2nd day the beds were made but that was it. No fresh towels, no addtional toilet paper. The three story of stairs was a bit rough. Way over priced for what it was. Sorry.

Très bien placé, au calme, bonne literie. Dommage que la personne présente nous épie durant notre petit déjeuner et qu’il débarrasse notre assiette avant que l’on ne soit parti de la table. Sinon c’est une très bonne adresse où je reviendrai.

It was really close to the Rialto market and restaurants but was quiet and peaceful. We were given lots of help and ideas about where to go, how to get there and good restaurants. The rooms were tidied each day and were immaculate with water bottles refilled and beds made each day. Breakfast was very enjoyable- continental and the coffee was very good. I would go again.

An amazing place to stay on Venice. Barbara is amazing and made is feel welcome and introduced us to the area which is in a perfect spot. Room was beautiful and spacious. Cannot recommend staying here enough. You will love it.

Great location, round the corner from water taxi. Barabara was incredibly friendly & helpful, couldn't be more accomadating. Continental breakfast, exactly what we expected. Room could do with a little tlc but overall was fit for purpose. Would definately recommend to others.

Perfect Location just away from the crowds
Great Location. Spacious Room with high ceilings. Barbara the host in addition to making me feel very welcome had many suggestions and options for entertainments in the area. Very knowledgable and helpful. Bathroom had shower tub, nice amenities and a mini frig

Very good Bed and Breakfast
Very historic Bed and Breakfast place. Well located near but not in the busy city centre area. Staff were friendly and helpful, including booking some classical music concerts.

Great place!
we had a really great time getting to put our feet up for a much-needed rest while in Venice. Barbara and Sunil were terrific helps for us! Definitely recommend!

Sub-standard hotel. over priced.
Will never recommend this place, substandard hotel. Need to open 4 doors with 4 keys to get into your room. They ard too many steps, they it is 3rd , in reality more. Had to wait for 5 minutes in am hours to get hot water. Shower is very small cant move your arms freely. The hallways are dark you have to turn the lights. No elevator, people with health issues and people with special needs can never access. Very old building, not upto standard. over priced, theadvertisement on their is misleading.

Dear Sir, we are always happy to receive any review: whatever the score or comment, for us it is important to improve our service. Reading your feedback I realize that none of your statements relate to our service or location or room but rather the structure, the building, and so I wonder if the b&b's information and descriptions have actually been read by you before booking. La Villeggiatura is not a hotel, as you wrote, but a bed and breakfast: a typical Venetian residence located in a Seventeenth century building. We love our city and our desire is to preserve its historic buildings as intact as possible. For this we clearly indicate in the descriptions and also in our confirmation email that the b&b is on the third floor, without a lift (which we will never put in). Despite this, La Villeggiatura offers an accurate and personalized service: as you confirmed giving a very good feedback for our check-in service. The advertisement is not formulated at random but it is the result of all the comments made by customers who have stayed at the b&b so I don't see how it can be misleading ... Regarding the shower instead I would like to underline that it is a standard size shower and that no one has ever complained about its size. On the other hand, you have chosen a classic room, we also have superior rooms and junior suites: I hope to welcome you in the future in one of those bigger rooms that, I'm sure, better suit your needs.
