Hotel Abbazia was very good!
We had a lovely two days trip to Venezia, and we loved the hotel Abbazia. It is located very close to the train station, prabably only a 4 minute walk maximum. The hotel is very beautiful and it has some great history, as it was used by the munks before it turned into a hotel. The breakfast was the only thing that dissapointed us a bit, a lot of cakes and no eggs or bacon. But as i have experienced before, they dont seem to have any intterest for breakfast in Italy in general. The aircondition was also very good. Tip: One of the better restaurants in Venezia is located just across the street ot Hotel Abbazia. It is called Trattoria il Vagone

The location was perfect avoiding the difficulties in transporting the luggage, the staff was very friendly and helpfull, the hotel was quite and pleasent, very good place to stay and be recommended.

When I arrived the elevator was not working. I took some persuasion to get the desk personntob help get luggage up 3 flights . Room was very nice. Desk persons helpful. I didn’t realize when u booked that this was a condo dived into just 5 rooms with no lobby. And no 24 hour staffing. Neighborhood was great close to bus and trolly which I did not use. Because I didn’t y derstand there were just 5 rooms , I wound up paying for two nights when I only stayed for one. Expedia could not promise that my first night would not be lost. They could nt change but only cancel the whole reservation.it was ok but overspent for a night I didn’t use

This is a really nice little spot so close to the train. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms are not too big but also not too small to still be comfortable. Very cool place as it was a prior monastery. Clean and nice hot shower. Overall good experience and happy to have stayed there. Thanks to the staff!

I was so happy with this hotel. It was a beautiful hotel everything was very clean and tidy. Lovely room with comfy bed and great shower. The breakfast was fantastic plenty of options. And all the staff were amazing. They were all so friendly and helpful. Really made me feel welcomed.

Sehr nettes Hotel in guter Lage am Bahnhof. Man kommt überall recht schnell hin. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das in sehr vielen Sprachen. Unser Zimmer war groß genug, dass wir unsere Koffer nicht stapeln mussten, und sauber. Frühstück ausreichend und lecker. Wir würden es nochmal buchen

What a find! Unique, palatial rooms and a complimentary hot breakfast not seen elsewhere in Italy. The only disappointment was no AC or a fan for a warm evening in the loft beds.

This hotel is a great option for families. The room we reserved had two single beds and a queen bed the right size for our family of 4. It is just 5 minutes from Santa Lucia train Station and about 20 min walk to San Marco. The staff is very polite. It was a good choice.

The hotel is extremely convenient, with walkable access to major attractions. The interior atmosphere is quiet and sedate, reflective of the hotel’s religious community history. The breakfast is superb. The staff are gracious and accommodating. Special compliments to Matthew for his friendliness and helpfulness.

This is a great place to stay in Venice if arriving/leaving by train - it is a short walk to get there with your luggage and readily accessible to the important points of the city. The front desk staff is excellent - very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and safe!

Hotel is old but nice. Housekeeping does an excellent job. Restaurant right across the way had excellent food and good service. Location is very convenient to the train station. I'd gladly stay there again.

First, we chose this location because it was conveniently located, and it’s close to the train station, bus station to the airport etc. But, the rooms are dusty and old,l. Even though we went in march, the room was extremely hot and they wouldn’t turn on the AC, we were asked to open the windows but it was loud outside and we couldn’t sleep. The beds have a lot of dust and btw, there’s no elevator. The back porch was not as it shows on the photos. The breakfast was good though. We wouldn’t come back to this location.

The room was big, clean with all necessary things, tooth brush, hair dryer etc. Location was convenient within 15 minutes walking to Marks Sq and luxury shops and restaurants. I wish you had eggs for breakfast:)

The front desk staff are fantastic especially Matteo. The room was comfortable but my only complaint would be that the walls are a little beat up and need a coat of fresh paint.

The staff was great, breakfast was also good. Everything’s close by. The hotel needs some tlc. The washroom had mold, walls needs to be repainted and you can tell the floors and not clean. I don’t think we will staying here next time in Venice.
