"Problems started at check-in. The front desk attendant took some time to locate my reservation, and when she finally did, she told us that nothing had been paid in advance—despite the fact that everything had been paid in advance. When we tried to confirm whether the room was the correct type, she had to ask her colleague. The room itself was not bad, but the corridors smelled strongly of fresh paint, possibly due to a recent flood. We could still see signs of damage in some areas. Cleanliness was below expectations, particularly in the bathroom, which didn’t have a proper shower enclosure—just a curtain. In fact, we were given an accessible room, even though none of us have a disability. The worst part of our stay happened when my wife went to the front desk to ask for a roll of toilet paper and a bar of soap (which, by the way, was a miniature). The receptionist was extremely rude and started questioning why we needed them—implying we might be trying to sell them. That’s completely ridiculous and offensive. Perhaps the issue was with the two girls working on September 27th, as the other staff members seemed fine. Breakfast was also disappointing. Only one person was cleaning tables and refilling food, and she clearly couldn't keep up with the number of guests. I honestly can’t believe this hotel has such a high score, especially when compared to other places I’ve stayed with the same rating. "

"Sentral beliggenhet. Stort rom. Så ganske nyoppusset ut. Vi fikk handicaprom, det som var bra med det var størrelsen, minuset var at det ikke var vegger i dusjen så det ble vann overalt. Fantastisk god seng. Store vinduer. Utsikt. Veldig god frokost. Blide og hyggelige mennesker som jobbet der, med unntak av ei, men hu hadde kanskje bare en dårlig dag. Parkering på hotellet var fullt, men parkerte i parkeringshus i nærheten (Pasteur), god plass. Anbefaler hotellet!"
