The suite itself is quite large! Check-in was easy and staff were nice. The suite was clean and the cleaning staff came by after a night to check if we needed anything. As it’s an older building, both the walls and the curtains are quite thin, so bring earplugs and a sleep mask if this would bother you.
One piece of constructive criticism for the front desk staff: I had an unfortunate situation during my stay where a guest across from my room was having some sort of breakdown - screaming at the top of her lungs, throwing things, yelling at her husband, running between her room and another room down the hall with her crying child — on and off ALL day long. Things were escalating quickly, and I witnessed the woman run out in her underwear, screaming and spanking her child in the middle of the hallway. By the time the hotel finally sent someone up, the woman had briefly calmed down, so the staff didn’t seem to believe me and didn’t bother to knock and check on her and her child. I let them know that far above the noise complaint, this is a safety and potential domestic issue. The staff seemed annoyed at me rather than concerned. Overall, it took many hours and 5 calls to the front desk for someone to actually knock on her door and talk to the woman, and they only did so when I let them know that I had a recording of it. Their lack of responsiveness left me feeling distressed and concerned. In future, these types of issues should be handled properly and immediately.
