This beautiful cottage offers everything you need. Eat breakfast on the balcony overlooking the lake, spend your day on the beach, and enjoy the sunset on the deck, followed by some romantic time by a fire.

We are also located approximately 15 minutes from Edelweiss ski and golf resort.

Bell Mega fibe (1.5 Gig) internet will also make sure you're able to work remotely, if you are not too relax for that!

This home offers 3 private cozy bedrooms and 1 bathroom equipped with a shower-tub combo. The main open-concept area features 2 living areas with plenty of seating for enjoying the lake view and cozy up to the fireplace. The spa is located in the sunroom which allows you to access the tub without stepping in snow! There is a mini-fridge located in the sunroom to keep your refreshment cold.

The well water is fresh and drinkable.

In the winter, we strongly recommend travelling with an all-wheel-drive vehicle and winter tires as the cottage is located at the bottom of a hill. All vehicles are appropriate in the summertime.

There's also a propane BBQ available (propane included)!

Please make sure you properly declare the correct number of guests. In an effort to avoid unauthorized parties, there is an addition $150 per person, per night, fee for any unauthorized guests.

We stayed at the cottage in July 2025. We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage, the dock and the lake for 5 days. Unfortunately on day 5 there was a massive thunderstorm that left the area without power for 24hrs. That meant no fridge, water, including toilet, fans and AC. We were in the middle of a heat wave and it was 40 degrees and I had 5 teenagers with me and my dog. After 18 hours or so without power, we decided to leave and so missed out on the last two days of our rental. We could have come back the next day to enjoy one last night but doing so would have required us bringing back all our stuff including food. As well, when we packed up the car I saw that one tree had fallen near my car and one had fallen in front of my car hitting the hood on the way down and causing a small dent. Overall I was quite happy with the cottage and amenities. I rated the accuracy of the description as a 4/5 because the listing said AC however in reality there was only AC in two of the three bedrooms and none in the common areas. Since leaving the cottage I have made efforts to get compensation for the 24hrs without access to basic amenities as well as for the dent on my vehicle but have yet to reach a satisfactory resolution with the owners. Notwithstanding the above, I do recommend this cottage for families and dog owners. My one recommendation to the owners of the cottage would be to get a generator given that I am told by folks who live in the area that power outages are common.

Beautiful Val-Des-Monts getaway!

From the time we booked there was open communication between ourselves and the owners. Upon arrival we were blown away by scenic lake and breathtaking hills. The lake is surrounded by quaint villages with plenty of bakeries and shops. The hiking in the area was magnificent. The property itself is beautiful, and we found the cottage to be a perfect size. The open concept is nice for conversing while cooking, and the large deck is a great spot for lounging outside. We will definitely be back!

Great weekend!

Had a fantastic friends reunion weekend here and loved it. Jaro was a fantastic host and very responsive. Check in and check out were a breeze and the place was very comfy. Hot tub was a real bonus in the winter time, and the lake is gorgeous.

Winter getaway

The cottage is cozy and well-equipped. The woodstove is a nice option (wood is not provided but can be purchased nearby). The hottub is very nice. Instructions for use are clear and easy to follow. We had to shovel our way in and out, but the owner contacted removal when we requested it. Would come back again!

Clean, safe family getaway

This is a cozy lake house tucked away with a lot of privacy but also easy access to a small grocery store and pizzeria. Our family of 5 slept comfortably and enjoyed use of the spa and paddleboard, canoe and kayak. The house is simple, clean and uncluttered, with everything we needed. Host was extremely responsive.

Beautiful area. Cottage was very clean but upon arrival the cottage was extremely cold and took hours to warm up with the electric baseboard heating. There were no blind/curtains in one bedroom so it was very bright, early in the morning. We would return again but probably during a warmer time of year.

Cozy Little Cabin

Beautiful, clean and cozy lakefront property

We loved our stay at this cottage. The home was spotless, large, modern and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need. The beds were comfortable. The lake was calm and beautiful. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely return. Note that there is a bridge for cars across the lake from the cottage, which can create a small amount of traffic noise when cars cross it that is audible from the cottage. This did not bother us at all (the noise is not loud, quieter than a motor boat or seadoo). But if you want to get away from all traffic noise, or don't want to see any cars in your lake view, it is something to note. Again, this didn't affect our stay, we still had a wonderful and relaxing time.

Loved our stay!

This was the perfect summer getaway for our family! The cottage was spacious enough for 4 adults and 2 kids, with lots of comfortable areas to hang out in. We had a blast boating and swimming all day in the lake. The rental came with everything we needed and the hosts were quick to answer questions. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
