Wilderness House

Visit Lofoten with Nord-Olderfjord as your base, enjoy hiking in the surrounding mountains, kayaking from our front yard, skiing on the nearby mountains and fish from the shore. Raw and wild atmosphere surrounded by the purest nature, perfect for deep relaxation far from the noisy civilization. Your host is a certified nature guide who lives in next door and happy to give you tips. Kajak, kenu and snowshoes rental possible from your host.
The space
Olderfjord is located in the middle of Lofoten about 25 km from Svolvær and 40 from Leknes.

The home is about 2.5 km from Gimsøystraumen bridge on the E10.

Go hiking, fish from the shore (cod, makrell etc) or climb or ski the mountains depending on season.

Go golfing at the famous and award winning Lofoten Links, about 15 km from the house.

Shop at the stores in Svolvær, kabelvåg (20 km ) or Sydalen (6-7 km away).
Guest access
Entire house with kitchen, dinning area and living space with fire place. Bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Garden with seating towards south to the fjord and mountains.
Also direct access to the fjord for walking, fishing etc down the path in front of the house. Plenty of space and wild nature around the house.

There is TV, Wifi and a loud speaker provided.


Parking next to the house or down along the street for multiple vehicles.
Other things to note
We have a private well for water supply. -Our water is coming from the mountain and it is the purest what nature can provide.
In the dry warm-season we have to be mindful of its consumption. Mainly July month is what effected.
