The views are absolutely spectacular, and the rooms are undeniably cool in every sense of the word. Especially the temperature. Along with the stunning, airy panorama, you’re treated to a refreshing ice-cold shower each morning — whether you asked for one or not. Nothing says luxury quite like involuntary cryotherapy at sunrise. And let’s not forget the dining experience. The menu offers a fascinating exploration of how high prices can climb, seemingly inspired by the altitude itself. Unfortunately, the quality of the food doesn’t quite make the same ascent. It’s impressive, really — paying premium, sky-high prices for a culinary experience that remains firmly grounded. All in all, Vertical Sky delivers unforgettable views and equally unforgettable invoices."

"We booked this hotel as it was a higher end luxury hotel and hence didn’t mind paying twice as much as the other hotels in the Sacred Valley. The gardens were beautiful and the exterior is cool, staff was friendly, nice big comfy bed and the dinner food was tasty. Drawbacks were that it didn’t really feel as nice as we expected for the price. It’s quite old (not in a charming way), the cold water suddenly cut while showering scolding me, the toilet stopped flushing (no, we didn’t clog it :p), the window in the roof is a nice detail in the daytime, but means a light will shine in your face from 5:30AM, the dinner food was good but extortionate in comparison to other nice restaurants in the area (with a baby and the hotel being in the middle of nowhere, we couldn’t go other places for dinner, so we were essentially in a captive market paying a lot for the food), breakfast was mostly cold continental with an offering of fried or scrambled eggs (again, very sub-par for the hotel price), all of the luxury elements were also really expensive (getting a massage, yoga session, using the jacuzzi - spa should have been included) and booking a taxi through them cost way more than Uber or negotiating with a local taxi. All in all, delicious dinner food and super friendly staff with lovely gardens, but very expensive for what you get and it needs some maintenance and improvements on the included offerings. "
