The Tilted Pelican exceeded our expectations. The house, tiki bar, fire pit, patio and boat dock were absolutely perfect. The property provided a perfect set-up for our family to enjoy some nice R&R together after assisting with decorating the wedding venue, etc. ... the nice continental breakfast was a PLUS and the property was spacious, comfortable, and very clean! «No luxuries at all. The toilet in the hall was like riding A bucking bronco. It’s clearly not attached to the floor & is leaking somewhere. The kitchen was seriously infested with teeny tiny ants…eeeew! Not enough towels & extra blankets. Tons of goose poop in the yard leading to the lake…like a mine field. The fire pit was great & we enjoyed using it each evening. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay with our family.»

Accessibility for an elderly grandparent was the only issue- the 1800’s era stairs are narrow and steep, so extra care and assistance was needed to make sure a fall did not occur.»
