Welcome to Hinterwössen, a small village surrounded by mountains. A paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. In our “Bergzeit” vacation rental, you can take some time for yourself—take a deep breath—recharge—and feel at ease. No other guests, a private entrance, and a balcony. Enjoy the peace and quiet, watch our chickens scratch around, and sip your coffee in the sun. And when it gets cold, you can warm up by the wood-burning stove after a hike. All around you, the mountains beckon you to go hiking. We’d be happy to give you personalized hiking tips when you arrive
Our country-style vacation rental (approx. 42 square meters) consists of a living area, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a bedroom. The lovingly furnished living area features a cozy corner bench, a wood-burning stove with a warm stove bench, and a sofa. To make your relaxation experience perfect, you can watch TV—complete with a media library and DVD player—from any of the seating areas. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the living area. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, an electric stove with oven, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, a coffee maker (Nespresso capsule machine and filter coffee), and a kettle. There are also plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, and silverware. The bathroom features a shower, toilet, sink, hair dryer, washing machine (including detergent), and a drying rack. In the bedroom, you can enjoy restful nights in a large double bed (2x2m). Upon request, a crib can be provided for our younger guests. We’re happy to provide bed linens, towels, and dish towels. A vacuum cleaner is available in the vacation rental. We ask that you smoke only on the balcony.
Surrounded by mountains and nature, our vacation rental is the perfect starting point for leisurely hikes, fantastic mountain tours, and varied bike rides. Those who want to go high can challenge themselves on a variety of climbing routes. Water lovers will also find plenty to enjoy. The surrounding area features beautiful lakes and interesting rivers for water sports enthusiasts. In winter, the cross-country ski trail is within walking distance, and the Winkelmoos-Steinplatte ski area is about a 20-minute drive away. There are also beautiful winter hiking trails here, and depending on snow conditions, various opportunities for sledding and ski touring. The magnificent landscape invites you to explore and relax—enjoy your time in the mountains!
We’re a small family and love life in the little mountain village of “Hinterwössen.” In our free time, we spend as much time as possible in the mountains. Hiking, mountain biking, sledding, ski touring… every season has its charms, and we make the most of them! Thanks to the renovation of our home, we can now offer others the chance to enjoy the wonderful surroundings right from our doorstep.
