«The front desk staff are not very friendly. Checking in I was told they didn’t have a reservation for me - gave them my confirmation number and she still had trouble. I had reserved 2 rooms, she put us on opposite sides of the hotel - asked if we could be closer, and she replied, “No”. Asked about breakfast she pointed where it was served; the next morning after we ate a young man asked us for a “voucher” - “it’s not included with the room.” The call service on the first floor was horrible, ...

«This room was spectacularly overpriced. I recognize that there was a lot going on in Lawrence this weekend. But, jacking up the rate to over $500 for a $60 motel room was not ok. There was spackle in the bathtub. The lamp socket was hanging off the lamp. The desk chair’s fake leather was peeling and the couch was threadbare. The mattress was as thin as an 80s fouton. Staff were lovely and kind. Room seemed clean despite the disrepair. If it had been $60, it would have been fine.»

«The room assigned was awful. Dirty, in poor condition, mold in the shower with broken tiles (didn’t use because of this). The rust was prevalent throughout the room. Burn holes in the bedding. Worst stay of our lives. Would have left, but we were in the middle of a severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings. DO NOT STAY HERE!»
