«Great breakfast offer of both European and Asian. Very friendly staff. Many didn't speak any other language than Chinese but that made it just that more fun. But those who spoke English were very good. Close to Chinas largest shopping mall. Lot of small local shpps around the hotel. A very vlean and safe area!!!! The hotel itself was very clean, modern and comfortable! Great caluefor the money!!!!!»

«Ok»

«Old Hotel . Rooms need an upgrade. The breakfast was soso. Price-performance ratio is not justified»

«The room smelled so terrible, that the experience was not good. It seems that they use som kind of harsh chemicals maybe to clean. We tried to switch room, but it smelled just ass bad. But the staff was nice, the facilities was good and the hotels placement was incredible.»

«The hotel is located in an old residential district in Beijing. Nevertheless, the hotel is very clean, and its facilities are well maintained. In addition, its restaurant is excellent.»

«6 stars if i could. The hotel is not fancy but is very clean, well maintained and in a great location. The staff were AMAZING they were so helpful with anything i needed. The effort the staff at the front desk made to help me at the hotel or anywhere i needed to go was above and beyond. I can’t say enough about how great the staff made my visit to Beijing. I will be back for certain.»

«I have stayed at this hotel twice, first while the legendary John Spooner was manager. This time a new manager, also very warm and forthcoming. The staff in general is very helpful. I love the ambiance and history of the hotel. If walls could talk! The location is great, obviously. Rooms very quiet and cool. Loved to sit down in Writers Bar after long days of sightseeing - very charming staff! Keep up the good work, I very much look forewards to be back.»
