«La Pentera is a unique property and it is conveniently located around 30 minutes drive to the entrance of the Udawalawe National Park. Our host is very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond our expectations and making sure we have the best time in the property. The evening walk around the lake area is awesome, and the hammocks, swings and mini rock climb is nice too. «Toted as being one of the most remote hotels in SL the hotel did not disappoint. Fabulous location and well run for such a remote site. You certainly got a sense of the rainforest by the time you got there. Our container was comfortable and the bar and dinning rooms spacious. As vegetarians we were a little bored with curry and rice yet again but it was nice not to have to face another buffet dinner as dinner was served to you. «Beautiful room and location - this guesthouse only features 1 bedroom (a minute walk away from the host's house) and is quite isolated. Perfect to spend time in silence, reading or meditating. There are a few guesthouses a couple of minutes walk and it is literally 5 minute walk from one of the entrances to the national park. The host is wonderful and is a guide himself, - his wife cooks great meals (recommended the vibe rice option).»
