Wonderful stay, if a bit remote
Wonderful choice, but please note that the villa is in the middle of rice fields, which have a lot of standing water. Standing water attracts bugs, so bring bug repellent! Otherwise the villa is beautiful and peaceful, and the service is superior.

Nice villa, perfect for children.
Location was average. You definately need to book a driver to drive you around. Service was outstanding, view of the paddi fields was great. However, it being a outdoor space, there was alot of insects and creepy crawlies (toads, spiders, ants). There was a huge ants nest outside the villa door and also all around the villa. There were also alot of flies - while eating breakfast, we had to fend off the flies. Pool was in a okay condition, but can be cleaner. Doors leading to the toilet were see through glass, so absolutely no privacy at all. Spa was within the villa space and was reasonably priced. We had to catch our flight early in the morning on checkout day so we thought we had to miss our breakfast, but the hotel staff packed a light breakfast for us to eat on the car. Overall it was a okay experience.

balcony view picture is not accurate, others good.
The place over all is beautiful, service is standard, but people in the hotel are very nice, inside room is beautiful and clean. The only problem we have is the room window does not like the picture we booked online, is miss leading. We book this hotel because we want a full rice field view from balcony. They told us room is full, but I still look around the hotel realize there is no room window facing the lobby site, which is the full rice field. So the picture need be accurate and updated be more real. Cuz I feel is a scam due to face picture , if I know the room not the same picture showed I will not book it. But because the staff are nice, lobby still have a amazing view, and location is good. So we give a standard rating decent hotel if you can live with it the miss leading room view.

Due to the very good service and friendly attitude given by almost every staffs in the villa, we simply can ignored about those small flaws (eg. like the villa is bit tired already, can see ants, lizards & flying insects esp at night(because surrounding by padi fields & plants) We truly love the nice view to look at when we relaxed in the private pool. Overall we enjoyed our stays at Villa Kayu Lama.it’s a quiet and peaceful villa, just relax and do nothing is good enough..

너무 멋진 숙소!
우붓이라 벌레걱정을 많이했는데 너무 깨끗하고 뷰도 좋고 너무 친절하고 최고에요 특히 룸서비스가 아주 맛있어요bbb 스파도 좋았구 여기선 안좋은 점을 찾을수가 없었어요 심지어 저렴하기까지 진짜 최고!! 수영장 물도 틈틈히 계속 청소해주셔서 아주 깨끗했어요!

시설은 굉장히 프라이빗하고 좋았어요 서비스도 너무 좋았습니다. 그런데 우붓시내와 거리가 멀어서 교통이 불편했습니다. 주변이 논밭? 이라 개미가 많았고 화장실에서도 꽤나 많았습니다. 저녁에 갑자기 새소리가 크게나서 좀 놀랐어요. 가족끼리 연인끼리 프라이빗한 곳에 묵고싶으면 추천드려요

숙소가 8점대 되어도 실망스러운게 넘 많아서 찾다가찾다가 요길 발견했는데 넘 만족스러웠어요. 단 우붓 시내에서 많이 떨어져있어서 필요한건 마트에서 먼저 사서가세요. 도마뱀이 많았어요. 직원들은 친절하고 룸서비스와조식은 너무 맛있었어요

残念でしたが 1泊にdinnerとマッサージが つくプランを予約して2泊したら それらのサービスは 1回ずつしか 受けられないとの事でした。 2泊 別々に 予約すれば2回ずつ可能でしたが 満室だったので キャンセルして 再予約する気になれず 残念でした。当日 その説明も無く とても 残念でした。

Für unsere Zeit in Ubud haben wir in der Villa Kayu Lama zwei Nächte verbracht. Diese Zeit hätten wir uns nicht schöner vorstellen können und waren am Ende sogar etwas traurig, hier nicht noch einen weiteren Tag bleiben zu können. Wie bereits mehrfach beschrieben wird man sehr herzlich empfangen und fühlt sich von Anfang an äußerst wohl. Die Villen waren traumhaft schön. Angefangen bei der Außenanlage und dem unglaublichen Pool bis hin zum King Size Bett und dem „Freiluft-Bad“ gab es absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier vorbeikommen und können es jedem uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Villa was good and breakfast was great. What we didnt like about our stay there was the shuttle bus service. Their pick up times are highly inaccurate! They had a pickup time from ubud Ubud center at 230pm and we repeatedly told the villa that we needed that pick up and we have a flight to catch after. We WhatsApped and called them when we were at the pickup location at 230pm. However the villa told us that the driver was only on the way. After a 30 mins wait, the driver then contacted us and told us to walk a few streets down for him to pick us up instead! As tourist, imagine how disastrous this can be. Lucky my fiance is good at directions and maps if not i dont know how we were going to meet him. We finally met the driver 45 mins later. Lucky the driver that we booked to send us to the airport waited for us. Please do something about your shuttle bus service!

They are 6 units in the villa; each includes two big rooms, sitting room and a pool about 2m by 4m. it situates beside a padi field. To stay here you need own transportation, the villa may provide shuttle service to KUTA.

Beautiful, peaceful, two bedroom villa in the middle of rice fields with a private pool. Lovely restaurant with fantastic food and beautiful staff. It is a fair way from the centre of Ubud, however they do offer a free shuttle three times a day. Would definitely recommend this villa if you are after peace and quiet.

費用から考えると、とても快適でお洒落なホテルです。フレンドリーなスタッフ、美味しい朝食に感動しました。周りに何もないので、帰る途中にスーパーに寄っていました。足りないものはスタッフに言えば持ってきてもらえます。

정말 강력 추천합니다.
정말 모든게 완벽할 정도로 좋았습니다. 조식의 퀄리티가 일반 가게보다 훨씬 좋습니다. 직원들 친절하고, 특히나 한국어를 하시는 사장님과 드라이버님께 좋은 정보 많이 들었습니다. 청소도 매일매일 하고, 수영장 수질도 좋습니다. 다만 위치가 우붓시내에서 좀 떨어져있으며, 와이파이 신호가 잘 잡히지 않았습니다.

Best hotel for the price!
We spent a week here. The staff was allways super-kind and willing to help with anything. The athmosphere was very relaxed and cozy. As the hotel is situated a 20 min. ride from Ubud, it is very silent. We really loved the view from the reception/restaurant over the rice fields. We also booked a driver without a certain time/price frame. The hotel kept the price very fair. We both would like to recomend this hotel/villa to everyone who does not like to be in the center. For us, an active couple, there wore many things to do in the area, and if you need ideas, just ask the staff. They will have plenty of knocledge of what you should do.

Ruhe inmitten der Reisfelder
Diese Villas sind inmitten der Reisfelder. Schöne Zimmer, sehr nettes Personal, leckeres Essen, Massagen ebenfalls verfügbar. Pool war sauber. Alles was man will. Da es mitten in der Natur ist, hört man auch Tiere tagsüber und manchmal Nachts, aber das kann auch beruhigend sein, je nach Typ Mensch :-) wenn man wegen jeder Ameise an die Decke geht sollte man aber nicht da buchen.

Great hospitality and rooms
My fiancé and I booked a couple of nights here during our short stay in Ubud. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the resort as it was a little out of town center. They have a free shuttle that runs to Ubud town center a few times a day which helped us out a lot as we didn't have a vehicle or motorbike. For one day we took a tour with Susanna to the rice paddies, temples, and waterfalls in addition to a few other places we requested. He was an amazing tour guide and went above and beyond for us. Breakfast is included with your stay and there were plenty of options to choose from which we enjoyed. Thank you everyone for a wonderful stay!

I absolutely loved my stay here. It was beautiful and quiet. Loved having breakfast with a view of the rice fields. The tour guide whose name was pronounced Susanna was great. I did a half day tour and he took me to the coffee plantation and to buy some silver in addition to the stops on the tour. They let me pick the places I wanted to go on the tour which I appreciated. I highly recommend this place!

거의 모든부분에서 다 만족스러운 곳
풀빌라인줄알고 예약했다가(호텔 홈페이지에도 개인풀 사진이 있었음ㅠ) 공용수영장을 사용해야하는 룸이였....ㅠ 취소도 안되고 아쉬운마음으로 갔으나 친절한직원들과, 깔끔한룸, 깨끗한수영장, 맛있는 식사 덕분에 숙박 더 할까도 고민할만큼 좋았다 시내와 거리가 조금있고 무료 픽업셔틀이 시간이 애매한것을 제외하곤 만족스러웠다 아마 우붓을 다시 가게된다면 이곳을 또 갈 것 같음 아 그리고 이 호텔의 나시고랭은 약간 김치볶음밥 맛이 났다 ㅋㅋㅋ 맛있었음

Nada más llegar a este hotel sientes una gran paz. Rodeado de campos de arroz y lejos del bullicio de Ubud pero a tan solo 10 o 15 minutos en coche. La habitación es amplia, limpia y la cama muy cómoda. La única pega es que le falta algo de espacio de armario y mejorar La Luz del baño. Por lo demás muy bien, el desayuno maravilloso y el personal muy amable en general.

●良かった所 朝食がおいしいし、バリ料理や洋風などの様々なスタイル、種類から、メイン・スターター・ジュースを選べます。 (コーヒーは日によってムラがありますが...) ●良くなかった所 ①レセプション 空港までのピックアップサービス(有料)のフォローが不十分でした。ドライバーが到着していない、などの不備をホテル側はこちらが連絡するまで認識していませんでした。またその後の対応も不満でした。 ②ロケーション ウブド中心地からかなり離れており、不便。中心地までのシャトルサービスも回数が少なく一日に3回程度。別ホテルのスパやヨガのピックアップサービス通常無料が、中心地から遠く有料になりました。 ③部屋関係 中心地から離れているので静かで、田園風景が美しいですが、その風景は部屋の中から見えませんのであまり、魅力を生かせていません。 プールは、池サイズで到底泳ぐ気にはなれませんし、ただのお飾りレベルです。期待しない方がいいです。

Mooie villa met prive zwembad vlakbij Ubud
Mooie villa met groot prive zwembad vlakbij Ubud met enorme mooie ligging tussen de rijstvelden. Voor ons iets te ver van de bewoonde wereld maar je kon met hotel shuttle wel naar Ubud gebracht worden en weer opgehaald. Door de ligging hadden we logischer wijze wel meer last van ongedierte en spannende geluiden maar voor twee nachtje te overzien. Aparte ervaring. Ontbijt was zeker goed maar niet spectaculair.

Nice place. Staff are excellent. Breakfast is always nice. Spa was a little disappointing but overall a lovely place. Need a bike though as it’s a little out of the centre.

저는 3박 숙박을 하였습니다 첫날에 늦게도착하였는데 앞에 직원분이 정말 친절하게 응대해주셨습니다 영어도못하는 저한테는 정말 큰 힘이도었고 이런서비스는 대한민국에서 받지 못할정도로 최고였습니다 마지막 3박숙박할때까지... 3박내내 식사를 객실안으로 주문하였는데 진짜 발리에서 레스토랑 음식보다 맛있었고 모닝식사를 가져다 준 직원도 친절하였습니다(야외에서 식사할수있음)경치 최고~~ 우붓시내로 나가는 셔틀도 있고 야경이 정말이쁜 호텔이였습니다 또한 숙박하면서 현지 사장님을 만났는데 한국말을 어찌나 잘하시는지 아메리카노도 무료로 서비스해주시며 발리여행코스도 설명해 주셨습니다. 호텔 현지 사장님 정말감사드립니다^^ 호텔에서 숙박하면서 정말 힐링이되어 너무 좋았습니다. 여자친구도 엄청 좋아했으며 다시 발리여행하여 숙박하기로 했습니다 우붓에서 이정도 숙박은 없을것 입니다 완전 강추~~~~!!!!!!

Comfy retreat
This was the perfect choice for us.so quiet and peaceful, surrounded by rice fields. The staff were amazing and the food excellent. 20 minutes drive from Ubud so easy to do sightseeing. Room was clean and had everything we needed.

Amazing stay at Villa Kayu Lama. They upgraded us to a two bedroom villa for 1 night as they had an error with their booking system and gave us an hour complimentary massage for the inconvenience (not that there was any). The two bedroom villa is huge! Pool is amazing and grounds incredible. Next night we went to our one bedroom villa which also did not disappoint! Loved every minute of our stay here and highly recommend.

Fantastic holiday
Amazing place. This is the Bali of 50 years ago but with all the modern facilities. Only 20 minutes from Ubud yet so quiet and peaceful. The food was excellent and well priced, we ate there all the time. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Our driver was very safe and took us to see the places of our choice. This is definitely where we stay when in Bali.

Amazing villa, tranquil stay in the middle of a rice field, outside Ubud; can't fault the cleanliness of the premises, or the helpfulness of the staff. We really enjoyed our private pool and the breakfasts delivered to our terrace every morning. The wi-fi connection was good enough for streaming Netflix, and we also found the shuttle service to Ubud useful. Recommended!

Wonderful staff and service. Food was outstanding! Great selection. Nice serene vibe as the villas are removed from town, but easily accessible to Ubud center. Lots of activities nearby, such as zoo and elephant park. The room was amazing. The only negative thing I can say is the property should invest more in pest control to keep bugs and lizards outside. But they manage the facilities well and keep it clean.

Beautiful Villa Kayu Lama
If you want a place to stay that is peaceful, quiet and relaxing yet not too far away from everything then this is the place to stay. Staff are friendly, helpful and will go out of their way to accomodate whatever you want to do or see. Rooms are beautiful and cleanliness is maintained daily. Breakfast and restaurant food for lunch and dinner was great. We had an awesome 7 days at this place and loved every minute there

The Villa was beautiful with a lovely view.
We stayed in Villa 3, which had an amazing view of the rice paddies. The pool was cleaned and well maintained and having breakfast next to it each day was a lovely start. It is about a 15 minute drive to Ubud so if you are looking to explore I would keep in mind that you will need to order a car. Our room was beautiful and well maintained for the entire time that we were staying there. The small touches from the staff like leaving the aircon on so the roomw as cool for us was ,uch appreciated. The only issues we had was that the WiFi broke for a couple of days. It didnt bother us to much as we were looking to disconnect anyway.

Basically everything was perfect about the resort apart from some communication barrier mistakes and the quality of food. We stayed in a private pool villa and it was beautiful, the staff also have friendly smiles, but some of them the English is not good and don’t know what you are asking for. The food was sometimes brought out cold or not as per request. It’s a 15 min drive from town which is a $10aus can ride which is fine if you don’t want to go to town but if you find the food disappointing at the villa you’ll want to go to town which adds $20aus to your dinner bill and possibly lunch aswell. Also the villa does not have massage therapists on site. They phone them in when you request a massage and they’re not always available. So another trip to town if you really want massages. There’s also not much in the way of snacks at the villa so you need to take your own snacks. I asked for cheese and crackers once and got a plate of cheese singles and sweet biscuits. They have chocolate croissants and that was basically the only real snack available unless you just want to eat bananas all the time. Other than the things mentioned, everything else was what you might expect at a luxury retreat.

Amazing Villa!
Stayed in this amazing place for 4 nights and was so happy with everything. Beautiful room and pool, great food and amazing and accomodating staff. Located in a beautiful area surrounded by green rice paddies and a short drive into the main town. Would reccommend hiring motos through the hotel to explore the scenery. Will DEFINITELY be back!
