Potential...
Beautiful rooms, big area, with many different pools to choose from. It seems a bit ‘worn’ in the public areas though. A bit far from the centre of Ubud... but they offer a free shuttle. Sadly the last ones goes back at 21, which is really early

Kommer definitivt tilbake.
Fantastisk flott hotell. Vi hadde et stort rom med egen balkong og badekar på balkongen. Mange bassenger å velge mellom. Hyggelig og hjelpsomme ansatte. Det eneste som var litt kjipt var restauranten. Utrolig kjip mat og lite utvalg, spesielt for barn.

Fantastisk!!!
Nydelig mat, hyggelug og svært behjelpelig ansatte. Rommet var over alle forvebtninger. Eget boblebad og himmelseng. Resorten er stille og rolig og selv om det er andre gjester føles det svært privat. Fantastisk frokost, fasiliteter og anbefales på det sterkeste. Vi kommer tilbake og blir lenger.

Ikke helt som forventet
Hotellet ligger et godt stykke utenfor Ubud og er proppfult av franskmenn. Daglig leder er også fransk og virket å prioritere sine landsmenn, for her fikk vi langt dårligere service enn via er blitt vant til. Det er håpløst når en mann skal stå for all service. Hotellet har mini-mini-buss til sentrum, men den går alt for få ganger per dag. Hotellet har en fantastisk guide som kan ta deg med på en nydelig gåtur i rismarkene og områdene rundt, anbefales! Frokost er ok, men litt lange køer hvis du skal ha egg. Middagssystemet er håpløst og maten ok.

Idyllisk
Det vakreste hotellet jeg har bodd på. Helt sinnsykt god mat i restauranten og svært hyggelig betjening. Ligger litt i utkanten, men det går gratis shuttlebuss til Ubud sentrum hele dagen. Dessuten koster taxi null og niks. Badekaret var enormt. Om noe negativt kan jeg nevne at det såkalte gymmet er kun en utendørs tredemølle og et styrkeapparat, så man føler seg litt på utstilling.

Greit hotell
Selve hotellet var veldig fint. Servicen på topp. Men mye bråk på baksiden av rommene der vi lå fra hunder,haner,skolebarn og motorsykler! Det trekker ned total inntrykket. Frokosten helt ok. Ikke noe å skryte av.

En liten oase i nærheten av Ubud
Det var deilig å ha dette hotellet som base fra en ellers turmulent omgivelse. Anlegget rundt svømmebassengene er nydelig og eksotisk. Rommene er store, men mangler skuffer og skap, som kanskje er pga fuktigheten. Det hadde vært ønskelig med mere lys både på sove- og baderom. Det beste med hotellet må sies å være personalet - de var alltid utrolig søte og imøtekommende. Vi var meget fornøyd med oppholdet.

Spennende hotell i bushen. Du vil bli positivt overasket når du kommer hit. Bærer nok litt preg av slitasje her og der, men servicen var topp. Eneste vi kan klage på var frokosten, den syntes vi ble noe for enkel.

For the price this hotel was excellent! Don't worry about the location, free shuttle bus to/from Ubud every two hours that takes 10 minutes.

A very big resort, beautiful. I was staying alone for 1 night and a group of male workers unlocked the door to my room. It was an accident and they probably thought it was unoccupied but still unacceptable and there is not other lock on the inside of the room.

Lovely resort in Ubud
Amazing retreat style resort in Ubud. Only a 10min walk to the centre of Ubud. Beautiful pool and surroundings. Second stay here and would stay again.

No me gusto
El hotel está muy viejo, pésima mantención, las sábanas malas, la limpieza de las piezas bien, salvo todos los interruptores que eran un asco. La ducha funcionaba muy mal. Las piscinas con mucho cloro que se rompían los trajes de baño. Y no son como en la foto.... mucho más chicas. El hotel se ve que ha ido creciendo y son puros agregados que los recorridos para llegar de un lugar a otro son una lata. El desayuno bien pobre. No me gusto el Hotel, estaba lejos del pueblo caminando, no hay nada afuera para llegar caminando... precio -calidad muy mala. El personal era muy amable.

Wait, don't stay during ongoing construction
I can’t recommend this hotel right now. It has so much potential but it feels as if it’s just reopened, the staff are trying to learn their jobs and most of the pools are under renovation. It was difficult to find a common area to relax and enjoy the jungle like scenery, which is the highlight of the hotel, because there is so much renovation going on. The good news is I didn’t hear any of this noise in my room (#21). Only one restaurant is open right now and the service is extremely slow. The included breakfast is ok, not many options to choose from and I found it odd no fruit is included my first few days but they did add half way through my 7 night stay. There was a retreat going on during my stay, which is fine, but given 80-90% of the guests were part of the retreat it wasn’t a great place to meet people, as a solo traveler and felt deserted when they were in their sessions. When they were out of session they took over the place and weren't inviting to anyone not part of the retreat. I get it, I do retreats and you're bonding with those you're in the experience with, so this isn't a criticism just rather pointing out it would be helpful to know events going on at the property before deciding if its a good time to stay. Finally, its pretty far from Ubud Centre & with traffic its 30-45 minutes one way I really wanted to love this property, again it has so much potential, and once the work is done to bring it back to its glory, I’m open to giving it another chance.

Very worn, but still magical
Give it a few days, and it will grow on you. It is very worn and not in a good shape. It for sure had its prime, but now it is more magical with a sense of ‘jungle history’. Prices are vary fair, so all in all this is great value. We would be happy to visit again. If you are a yoga person, here is as we understood also training of instructors. Ps: stay away from Ubud center.

Très bel hôtel ancien très mal entretenu. C'est dommage car il est magnifique. Petit déjeuner très insuffisant. L'hôtel est loin de tout donc il faut apeeler un taxi et revenir en taxi. Très calme. Nous avions la suite gouverneur mais aucune vue. Déçu par l'hôtel

The hotel must have been incredible in its hay day!! We had a family room which was great, very clean. We had one large bedroom with a king bed and the second bedroom with 2 single beds. Big bathroom which was great, but had a shower that didn’t work and a leak in the roof. The bathroom did have a large bath shower combo so we used that. The grounds were massive, definitely in need of some TLC but still beautiful and tropical. The 6 pools were great to have. We used their free shuttle service to get to the main shopping area of Ubud and back to hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

The property itself was nice, I love the jungle vibe with all the trees and the little ponds with the fish and the many swimming pools. Our governor suit was also pretty good, very large and the room was always cleaned when we requested. If there's one major complaint we had it was the food. The breakfast was very limited and most of the time the food was cold, even being one of the first ones there at 7am. The room service food was just as bad, cold and expensive for what it was. One time we had ants on our burger bread. They were nice enough to give a refund on that item but it shouldn't happen at a so called 5 star resort. Other than the food though, it was a nice property and very safe with security at every entrance. I will point out that the staff are very friendly, definitely a highlight of the stay.

We rented two bungalows for one night for my wife and I and another couple traveling with us. The rooms were perfect when we checked in, well decorated, comfortable, and very relaxing. When we woke in the morning our bathtub and towels on the bathroom floor were covered with dead insects, mostly ants. Given that this is a tropical location there will undoubtedly be some bugs in the rooms but we had a lot of them. We didn’t notice any on the furniture or in the bed though. Our traveling companions didn’t have any issues with insects in their room so I don’t think our experience is the norm. Otherwise this place is amazing. So many pools and areas to meditate/relax. During our stay the grounds were being worked on and not all areas and pools were accessible. There is a spa on-site but the ladies chose to use the numerous spas in Ubud. The front desk staff is amazing. They helped us arrange transportation to/from town when our schedule didn’t line up with the regular shuttle times. We plan to stay here again on our next trip to Bali.

Jungle Oasis
Great stay! Was at the mansion in the one bedroom pool villa for two weeks during an Acroyoga teacher training. Was gorgeous setting, cool shala training spaces, so many pools and just felt like this amazing oasis of tranquility. The spa was great. Had an amazing deep tissue massage after my 36 hours of flying from Texas. I would definitely stay again !

The hotel grounds and pools are clean and beautiful. Everyhting about this hotel is huge. The room was very spacious for 4 people. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We're glad they had airport pick up as we got to Bali after dark, and drop off service (for a fee). The hotel driver, Daywa, was amazing! He was flexible and took us everywhere we wanted on the tour. Some minor issues: the hot water faucet for showering didn't work for a bit. They fixed it within the same day. We had car trouble on the tour. They sent another car and we continued on our tour like it never happened. Overall, we had a wonderful time in Ubud.

Very nice, needs a little sprucing up
Comfortable room and several pools at the hotel. Staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was great. The location is a bit far to walk to town (about 4km to the center) but the hotel offers a free shuttle. Overall it was very nice but it felt like everything could use a little sprucing up.

Some of the staff are very friendly. But sometimes the staff can just stand about chatting rather then being attentive and clearing away dishes after the person had left which results in insects. Examples: My drink which was handed to me had three ants inside and on on the outside of the glass which could only have come from the bar counter or serving tray. At breakfast the salad had been left uncovered and as covered in flies. On both occasions staff were standing about and both of these could have been avoided with a bit of care and attention. The Governor Suite was very nice and clean.

Whether you’re on a Romantic getaway, Solo Adventure or Family time The Mansion caters to all. Quiet secluded areas, pools for everyone, The Roof top pool is beautiful at Sunset. Fantastic facilities, great food and wonderful friendly staff
