«My husband had a partial corneal transplant. We are not from the area so one of our daughters searched for a place for us, her, her husband and two sons to stay for a few days. We arrived the day before the scheduled procedure, travelled to the hospital the next day and his follow up with the surgeon the day after the surgery. We stayed an extra day for him to remain on his back. The living room has two sofas so he could lay down on one and our daughter’s family could watch movies, play games ...

3. Peaceful family & pet-friendly country 3-bedroom house. Fire pit and views!

Harding

«Beautiful home lots of space very clean. Any time I had a question the host got back to me very promptly. We enjoyed the golf cart, the fire pit, and a little bit of the pool. Sadly, we didn’t have enough time to go to the pool because our days were filled with lots of other activities. There are two friendly cats on the property. We saw a black bear. That was pretty cool. Definitely enjoyed our stay.»

4. Rustic and private farmhouse close to Lackawanna State Park, near Elk Mtn Ski

Dalton

«What a gem this place is! The home is charming, spotless, peaceful, and beautifully decorated. The surrounding scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and learning the story behind the home made our stay even more special. From the moment we arrived, it felt more like staying at a cozy bed and breakfast than a typical vacation rental. We were greeted with a personalized welcome letter and a thoughtfully prepared guidebook filled with recommendations for things to see, do, and eat in the area. The ...

5. Harvey’s Lake —Million dollar views

Harveys Lake

«We had a very nice stay with extended family, and the home was large enough so that we weren't living on top of one another. We spent quite a bit of time on the large front deck, and it was nice to have a portion covered and a portion uncovered. The family enjoyed taking the the kayaks out onto the lake, which they could access from the private dock. Overall it was a relaxing and pleasant weekend. Kathy the host was also very proactive and accessible in her communications. Would recommend.»

«Host rented the apt. we had already rented so someone was in the property when we arrived. Host provided the adjacent property but we were locked out twice upon returning to property after a day of research so had to call host who thankfully just lived around the corner (and who did not apologize for the room mix-ups or getting us locked out of our building twice). The property was just okay for cleanliness; no wash clothes for the bathroom (we found those dried up and bunched up on the shower ...

«Excellent property for our large multigeneration family. We have stayed at many similar sized properties and this one ranks with our favorites. Lot's of bedrooms/sleeping options and plenty of room for different activities at the same time. Beds and furniture were comfortable with many reading nooks and napping options. Well appointed and stocked kitchen. Most impressed with the dining table. First time our entire family could eat together at one table. Lot's of water activity options ...
