Upon check in room appeared neat and clean. Upon using the shower there was a dirty bar of soap in the shower. No body wash, no tissues. At 3am used the toilet would not flush and no water to wash your hands. Called down to desk they said it would be on 5am. No water to wash up or brush teeth at 7.30. At breakfast no water for tea or coffee. At checkout I asked for some compensation for our trouble. I was told it was the city that shut off the water. I was told by the front desk the hotel agreed to shut water off at 11.30-3am. We were never told this at check-in or we would have chosen to stay elsewhere. We have non refundable rooms for Thursday and Friday and I am sure the water situation will be the same. We have no recourse to get reimbursed partially for the room and cancel Thursday and Friday. Upon booking we were not given the chance to talk to the hotel directly.
