LOONS LANDING is a property located on beautiful Bass Lake in Traverse City, Michigan. It is fully furnished home filled with lots of room, including 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and dining area, 2 separate living areas and a kids recreation area.
The home is split between three levels; the main level is home to the master bedroom, a full bathroom, kitchen and dining area, living room and the entrance to the very private deck that overlooks the lake. From the main level you can travel either upstairs or downstairs. Traveling upstairs you will find two spacious bedrooms with queen size beds. Traveling downstairs you will find another large room for relaxing or playing games. There is also another full-size bathroom in the lower level. The lower level also overlooks the lake and has a walk out patio door to the back yard and Bass Lake.
The home has a mixture of cottage feel with gorgeous pine accents coupled with trendy updates. The yard is grass covered, and the property has lots of beautiful landscaping. There is a bonfire pit near the lake. There is ample outdoor seating, and there is a canoe, and six kayaks (4 adult and 2 kid size) are provided for your use. Safety vests are also included for the canoe and kayaks.
While here, you will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and amazing sunrises over the lake. There are many animals in the area and on the lake to see. Some include turtles, eagles, loons and of course lots of fish!
The home is located 8 miles to the center of Traverse City. It is a perfect location to stay at and take day trips to famous places in Northern Michigan. The National Sand Dunes, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Mackinac Island, Frankfort, Northport, Suttons Bay, Leland and more!
The home sits on a small lot in a wonderful neighborhood. Due to the proximity of the neighbors, this home is NOT recommended for loud or large groups. It is perfect for small groups who wish to enjoy the scenery of the lake and the amenities of the home.
Loons Landing is located on the west side of Traverse City. Minutes from downtown Traverse City and a short drive to Interlochen Center for the Arts, Frankfort, Suttons Bay and all the wonderful attractions in our beautiful area.
No smoking inside the rental and no pets allowed.
There is a 3-car parking maximum. Additional off site parking is available if the need arises.
