«We had a great stay house was really clean and comfortable but unfortunatly it is about 20 km from the train station as it says on website its 15 min walk so we had to get taxis in and out of town which was 30 euro each way Also they don't have credit card facilities so the money had to be revoluted or cash and we weren't informed of this untill day 2..»

«Wir sind zu fünf Erwachsen dort gewesen. Das Häuschen war super und hat alles gehabt was man braucht. Alles hat super funktioniert👍 Der Bruder der Vermieterin der nebenan wohnt war sehr nett. Supermarkt ist etwas entfernt, aber wenn man dieses Haus mietet, hat man ein Auto und dann ist es egal. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!»

«Cottage is lovely and easy to find the local village is walkable and has everything you would want with shops and great restaurants (reasonable prices too) the only small thing we would suggest they improve is the lighting in the kitchen which is really insufficient if you want to cook in the evening.»

«The property manager was so welcoming! Fresh flowers, local bread and a sweet treat awaited us. Even though we were delayed arriving at the appointed time, our hostess made sure the “hand over” was seemless and she answered all of our questions. «The Walsh's home is a perfect haven. Everything was exactly as noted with beautiful details to all the remodeling done. The location is on a relatively quiet road that is about 2 miles from end to end and makes a perfect walk in the AM or PM. You may have a few sheep or others who demand a photo or two. Short distance to Cong and Ballinrobe, Oughterard, and Maam area are lovely to explore. Michael stays in contact as needed as well as gives you space to explore. I will return, hopefully!»

«We loved our stay. Frank and Geraldine Molloy were very lovely hosts. The cottage had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The only thing that was missing was the dryer. There was a washing machine, but not a dryer as listed. The location was perfect. We could visit Galway as well as Connemara Visitor center, and the Kylemore Abby. The cottage was right on the lake, so the morning views were breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who likes a peaceful retreat.»

«Can't recommend enough. Beautiful location on Lough Corrib. We had a family reunion and the house had everything we needed for big dinners on the shores of the lough or in inclimate weather, eating indoors. Oughterard is very easy to get to from Galway on a new road that makes the journey quick. (about 30 mins) The town itself is lovely with nice food options for eating out. The interior of the house is very comfy. Especially the beds. The furniture is a bit dated but did not present any ...
