«A lovely property, a newly renovated villa in a quiet location surrounded by fields. Mostly well equipped, but lacking a few details like somewhere to hang towels in the bathrooms. Bath plug leaked and TV turned itself on at full volume at 7.30 am!! Good location for access to Twin Coast rail trail.»

«Spacious and comfy bach with everything we needed for a weekend away with friends. The glazing offers such great views from all the living spaces. As already pointed out the kitchen is very small but we found it very functional - and the benchtop bifold out to the deck is brilliant. We found the bbq (situated out the back) was nearing the end of its life, as they do, but still managed steak for dinner. Hard to beat this private and well setup location.»

«Loved the place with all the facilities - limited instructions eg. TV use, and information about the area. Didn't realise how close the neighbours were and had to keep curtains closed most of the time to prevent neighbours on all sides seeing in. Wonderful and close access to the beach. Great to have our dog with us and would stay again but be wary of being there when other neighbouring baches had guests.»

Unfortunately it rained most of our stay so we are hoping to stay again to get to spend some time outside on the property. One thing to note is that the property is completely off-grid. We loved this aspect but definitely worth knowing that there is just one composting toilet and one shower when you have a big group! ...

«A new, well presented and well proportioned home for family of five (plus dog). Light and clean inside with large deck outside. Reasonably well equipped, though light on cups and good sized glasses, and no microwave (noting this wasn’t listed). For us it suited that the location meant there were no near neighbours but, at the same time, the property grounds and driveway were a bit of a building site and not yet developed. A delight to have the wild turkey and chicks roaming in the long grass.»

«On the web site it showed a hot tub which there wasn't one ! one of the reasons we booked this bach. This has since been removed. Also was not advised of the severe water shortage (heads up would have been nice) and someone was going to come round and measure what was in the tank - no-one came we were very conservative with the water and would have been anyway if we had been told..Maybe a reduction in the daily rate would have been welcome due to the above.
