Amazing stay - fantastic place!!
A very welcoming place and Debbie went out of her way to help me check-in early. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and it was in a really convenient location. The bed was very comfortable and the homemade cakes just topped everything off!! Would highly recommend and when we next travel to Torquay to visit family, we will definitely be staying again. Thanks Debbie!!

A Truly Brilliant B and B..just wonderful!!!
Well my daughter and I stayed one night here and we were truly delighted with every aspect of the service, room, friendliness and breakfast. Debbie is a kind and welcoming host and certainly if we’re ever in Torquay again, we would not hesitate to stay there! All the little touches to make your stay truly special! Even rocky road chunks in the room to welcome us..delicious!!!!

Exceptional guest house.
This guest house is exceptional, from the moment we arrived we were made very welcome. It is beautifully decorated and furnished, with a fantastic en suite shower room. The room was comfortable and had everything we could need and more. We were welcomed with a hot drink and in the room was a treat of home made fudge, rocky road and a dish of sweets! This was on top of biscuits and a range of teas, coffee and hot chocolate. The hot water machine made it much easier to make a drink and the water was boiled in 55 seconds! The toiletries provided were top quality, as was everything else in this place. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. There was plenty of choice for everyone. I enjoyed a bowl of fresh fruit before my breakfast, which contained nine different fruits! The breakfast was top quality. We couldn’t fault anything about our stay. We were even given a taste of a new fudge flavour to try and went home with a package of freshly baked fruit cake. Thank you Debbie and Rich, you’ve got everything right.

Thanks to Debbie and Richard for a short but lovely stay. Beautiful accommodation, spotlessly clean and meticulously maintained. The attention to detail was second to none. Quite possibly the best B&B accommodation that we have ever stayed in and the breakfast was delicious.

Excellent
Absolutely perfect, a home away from home. Guest areas all furnished to a very high standard, room was immaculate, bed extremely comfortable and nice hot shower. The free (for guest use) EV charging point was an added bonus. Nothing was to much trouble - if I’m ever back in the area I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

A great place to stay at Bentley Lodge.
Our stay at Bentley Lodge guest house was out of this world. The accommodation was clean and tidy, comfortable and just exactly to our liking. Debbie and Rich were pleasant and very easy to talk to and nothing was too much for them to do for us. A very happy few days spent with their hospitality and highly recommend.

Fantastic stay
The owners are fantastic and couldn’t be more accommodating. The room was immaculate with towels folded ready on the bed. They provided a selection of tea bags, milk in a small fridge, homemade fudge and rocky road, as well as a couple of chocolates in the room. The breakfast was superb, lots of choice and freshly made for the pre-booked time you specify you want it. Couldn’t recommend Bentley Lodge enough and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic, friendly owners
We stayed a week 31 July - 7 Aug, from the time we arrived Debbie and Richard couldn't do enough. We were held up on the motorway, and Debbie welcomed us with a much needed coffee. The room was beautiful and clean with little added extras of homemade fudge, sweets, water and really nice toiletries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Town centre was on a bus route, but you could walk, takes about 30 minutes, we did both. The gardens were amazing with plenty of seating. A big thank you to you both, I feel we came away and gained two friends. Until the next time xx

Debbie and Richard were the best host, very friendly, always willing to help and go the extra miles to make us feel at home. The breakfasts were 5 stars. The room was clean cosy and all the necessary amenities were spotless! Will definitely stay again if coming back to Torquay . The lodge was about 20mins walk to the harbour and easy access to the centre.

Lovely comfortable stay in a well-equipped B&B
We had a lovely stay in Bentley Lodge which had everything we needed. Fantastic breakfast with plenty of options, well-stocked room with drinks, tea/coffee as needed and some delightful fudge from a family friend (unfortunately not available to buy!!) Toiletries were included and the beds were very comfortable. Debbie and Richard had lots of recommendations for walks and things to do. A massive pro of this B&B is the lovely garden through the breakfast room. Lovely little spot, beautiful in the sun, with some chairs and tables to just relax in, with a relaxing pond. Well located with a nice walk to the beach, a wonderful place to stay. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely stay at the Bentley lodge
We stayed for 3 nights over the Whitsun Bank Holiday. We were madeost welcome by the hosts Debbie and Richard. We had a room comprising a double and single. Plenty of space for 3 people. The property os very clean with lovely gardens. Coffee and tea facilities in the room which also has a tv. A good variety of food available for breakfast which you can order the evening before. Witthin walking distance of the town but we did use the car as we travelled around a bit. Debbie and Richard have only recently taken over the property and they made our stay with their fantastic friendly help during our say. Would highly recommend a stay here

Amazing little find. Clean and modern and richard and debbie were so friendly and helpful even though she had a feactured ankle, even had a card, wine and fudge in our room for husbands birthday. Breakfast was lovely with fantastic produce. Beds were really comfortable and room has everything you need. Will definately book a return visit.

More than just a guest house.A very pleasant stay.
Bentley Lodge Guest House is one of the best B & B's you could possibly visit in Torquay. It is a hidden gem, that is very central to the town. We were made very welcome as soon as we arrived. The breakfast was great,the room was spotless with all the comforts you would expect with great attention to detail. If we return to the area again Ally & Al's place would be the first place to think of.

IT'S EVERYTHING YOU NEED ...TUCKED AWAY
I’d never booked with Expedia before so was somewhat cautious as to how genuine the reviews were on here - but they are honest and I would recommend both Expedia & the Bentley Lodge Both Kim & David engaged with the customers on a daily bases and whilst there was only 5 rooms you felt like a family together on holiday. The rooms and amenities were first class and would show up some of the bigger establishments Not sure where to go on a day out? David could offer you some advice on that. Are you picky at what you want for Breakfast? Kim was on hand. There’s parking for all guests, a beautiful garden to wind down in, and because it’s not on the sea front you don’t get the hustle & bustle from the traffic Torre Train station is only a hop; skip & a jump away so if you’re having a car’s having a holiday too don’t worry All in all, I was mightily impressed and in the words of the Terminator “I’ll be back! “

Couldn't fault it on comfort, cleanliness, breakfasts nor 'mine hosts' Car broke down on way so were 4hrs late but welcoming 'cuppa' on arrival was a nice gesture. Would not hesitate to stay again when the occasion arises.

We were made welcome and offered tea or coffee as soon as we arrived. Breakfast was as good as most hotels and nothing was too much trouble, we were even offered the use of their lovely garden. Certainly stay there again if in the area.

Outstanding Guest House with excellent service
Having just returned from 5 night stay at this hotel I would fully recommend to others seeking high end 5* accommodation as the standard of furnishing,decoration and cleanliness was of the highest order. The proprietors Dave & Kim take extra special care & attention to detail to ensure your stay is faultless, the excellent breakfasts are all cooked to order with a varied and wide choice on offer and all presented in the spotless dinning room. Town center shops and restaurants are within 10 minute walking distance, and their is a frequent hop on bus service close to the hotel.
