Your sunny humble 2 bedrooms in TOKYO center is upto maximum 4 persons 45 SqM bigger compare with hotel room or lodge same class. Best for couple of 2 or small family or group of friends if don’t mind use sleeping futon, up to total 4 persons. It is a classic 20+ years apartment on the top floor but the house interior is renovated.
Ideally located in a very quiet local Japanese neighborhood "Higashi Nagasaki" station, and close to biggest hub area Ikebukuro! Best place to rest after a hectic day in Tokyo. Lots of sunlight 3 sides during a sunny day.
Convenient store 1 minute, 5 minutes easy walk to the nearest station “Higashi Nagasaki”. There are hidden restaurants and cafes near by.

The Space
This is real Japanese neighborhood HOUSE top floor, interior is a humble renovated 2 rooms apartment with balcony. The best of western and Japanese rooms.
A double bed and a fold down sofa bed or 2 Japanese futons. 3 air conditions/heaters, flat screen TV, Super Fast max 200Mbps WiFi, hot bath, shower, towels, hair dryer, shampoo, body soap, washing machine, mircowave, toaster, refrigerator, iron, full kitchen, cooking tools.

Guests can have whole apartment with total privacy. You can use everything in the condo. These are provided:

- Super Fast max 200Mbps WiFi (get your eSIM card or Sim at airport)

Booking guidelines:
Please read the following house rules before booking:
- neighbors are sensitive to noises especially at night.
- prefer no late check in later than 9pm, which means airport arrival at 6pm latest because it may take guest 3 hours to get to city from arrival time. Check in before midnight still possible for small group and notify me before booking.
Check out cannot be earlier than 7am unless you notify me.
- Japanese local neighbors like it very quiet and clean, so please respect our culture without party, TV or loud voice and keep it clean.
- Of course no drug. Cigarettes allow only at balcony ashtray available if needed, not at doorway or outside the house.
- Super fast WiFi is free but I recommend you get your own SIM card at airport as well.
- Japanese new lodging law require all hosts to keep a record of ALL guests passport copy when for Japan tourism future references. Also your photo taken at the apartment to confirm guests actual arrival.

Nice size place with plenty of room. Very good communication and help with things to see and do in the area. Can get to almost anything in Tokyo in 25 minutes or so.

Easy check-in process, communicative host, and a nice, quiet location. The bathroom was very spacious, and there was just enough room for 4 of us, each with two suitcases. About a 5-6 minute walk from the nearest station, and only 2 stops from Ikebukero but it feels a world away from the hustle and bustle.Overall, a great location. Try to go to Yakiniku Ushioto for dinner early to get some tasty beef barbecue!

Absolutely perfect spot. Quiet neighborhood and very friendly neighbors. Apartment was easy to find and really close to anything you need. There is a 24hr restaurant right by the station that smelled AMAZING about 5 min walk. Jason was great and everything we needed was there. Thank you for a great place!

This was a 2 bedroom flat that was very comfortable. Perfect for our 16 year old son to have his own space. It was short 2 stop train ride to bustling Ikebukoro.

Spacious and great neighborhood

This was my second trip to Tokyo. During my first, I stayed in a hotel and although it was great, I craved more space. This VRBO offered exactly that. It was wonderfully I have space to sleep, eat, and relax all in separate spaces! The neighborhood was something I didn’t think I missed in my first trip. I was in the middle of the busy city before and this neighborhood was a nice change of pace while still having everything I needed. Large grocery store, multiple restaurants, shopping, even entertainment, with easy access to a train station. The owner communicated well ahead of my stay and during. He sent useful information and suggestions that we utilized during our stay.

Perfect place for First Timers

Let me just say wow. This place was absolutely beautiful. It is literally the best place to go as a first time traveling to Japan. Our host was the best at communicating. We were able to get so many recommendations. It was incredible if I could give higher than five stars for each thing I would because it was literally the perfect place to stay and we wish we could’ve stayed longer!

A good home base, nothing fancy

I knew this was going to be a smaller space and the size didn’t bother us at all. The host did a great job of communicating and even offered many resources that significantly helped in preparing for our first trip to Japan!Pros: The bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft. The bathtub was deep and the water was hot which I enjoyed. It felt like plenty of space and there was a washing machine. The flooring was smooth and clean and the toilet seat was heated!Cons: It was an additional short train ride and 10-minute walk from the station that I probably wouldn’t do next time. Also, there was a bit of a bad smell to the water in the bathroom and there was only one small towel (we bought and left an additional from the local convenience store). I couldn’t get the heater/ac to work and didn’t love worrying about the various trash days (which you don’t have to stress over in a hotel).

Very good

The apartment is located only 2 stations by train from Ikebukuro-Station and away from the busy streets of Tokyo in a quiet neighborhood. Only 5 minutes walk to the train station. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby for dining and shopping.The host was very helpful and provided a lot of information before we arrived, both about traveling in Japan in general as well as recommendations for local restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.For people who want to cook regularly, it would be nice to update the cooking facility.

The property is conveniently located near transport and dining options and offers reasonable pricing. However, it is part of a stacked duplex, meaning your experience may depend on the neighbors. Unfortunately, during our stay, the adjoining unit was occupied by individuals who played loud music and movies at all hours, and the soundproofing was inadequate. While the property manager was helpful and responsive, noise disruptions affected our ability to get a good night’s sleep.

Best host a person could ask for!

If you want more of a homey feel, I would definitely recommend this place! It was a 5 min walk to the train station and a 2 min walk to a convenience store. We stayed on the second floor of the apartment so you do have to be mind full. 1 room had a bed and the other room has a couch/bed and a futon. 3 heaters so you won’t feel cold if you go during the winter. The host themselves are WONDERFUL!! They always checked up on us and even gave us recommendations to food around the area and Tokyo. He was so thoughtful that he gave us a step by step guide to get to their home using the train lines from Narita airport (with pictures/videos!). They tried their very best to try to make sure we felt comfortable in Japan. Over all, me and my partner enjoyed this place! Thank you again to the host!

Lovely stay

Very quiet neighbourhood with easy access to trains and supermarkets. We stayed with our teenagers and had everything we needed. Host gave great instructions on how to find the house and English was great. Thank you Kevin!

really good!

location is really nice, very quiet neighborhood, away from the busy streets of Tokyo. Kevin was very helpful and it was such a cozy home. Location is also good, 2 stops from Ikebukuro, and the house itself is around 5 minute walk from the station. There are many konbini around too. Really enjoyed our stay! Arigato gozaimasu, Kevin-san!

Japanese immersion!

This apartment is in a quiet Japanese neighborhood, but close enough to transit and restaurants and shops. If you want a real experience of living in Japan, we recommend Kevin’s place. He is a very responsive host. The toiletries were plentiful. A nice refrigerator and microwave. You can pick up lots of food at Tokyu Market if you are tired of eating out. Comfortable set up with separate areas for toilet, shower and bathtub, and small sink. Washing machine works well and you hang your clothing outside under the overhang. The only caveat is the stairs up are steep, and watch out for the bicycles, which are everywhere.

Perfect Stay

This 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for our 10 day stay with 2 young adult children! First, this neighborhood is amazing ... a quiet neighborhood SO close to the big city sites of Tokyo. All you need in a 2-5 min walk: Incredible local restaurants, cafes and shops (follow host's recommendations). Super helpful host. Very comfortable apartment. Great location. Highly recommend!

Great location, excellent host

This property was perfect for us (2 adults and 1 teenager). It would have worked well for 4 people, too. The location was easy to get to on public transportation, but in a quiet neighborhood (a nice contrast from some other locations in Tokyo). The host was very helpful and provided a lot of information before we arrived, both about traveling in Japan in general as well as recommendations for local restaurants. We were very pleased with our stay and would stay there again.

Clean and spacious

Kelvin was a very good host, I was having trouble signing in on VRBO app. We were able to connect in What app which solve my worries. Kelvin Apt is as described bright and airy. It is spacious for Japanese standard. Although we did not cook at all it would be nice to update the cooking facility for people who want to cook a simple meal. The location is good, only ten minutes to the train station through a pleasant path in a quiet local Japanese neighbourhood. There is a 7-11 convenience store down the street, a few small restaurants, a flower shop, a small fish market and a supermarket. Two stops from the train station will bring you to Ikebukuro where you have many choice of restaurants and department stores. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Cozy and a good Home Base

The place was a great set of houses to stay at for our duration. Despite our large group size it didn't detract from how well it helped. During the day we would go out to explore and it was nice to know we had this comfortable abode to return to.
