We stayed in this hotel for two consecutive nights, and unfortunately, our experience was not what we expected. Upon returning to our room at night, we discovered that it had not been cleaned. When we approached the staff to inquire about this, we were informed that cleaning services are only provided upon request, which was not clearly communicated to us during check-in.
We believe this lack of information may have been due to a language barrier, as the staff didn’t make this point clear enough. Additionally, there were no notices on the door or in the room to inform us about the absence of automatic cleaning services.
Considering we paid over 60,000 yen for a night, having to request cleaning is unacceptable to us. We had anticipated a higher standard of service for the price we paid. Overall, this experience left us disappointed, and we hope the hotel management can improve their communication regarding services provided.
