«We really liked everything about the Ollerod. Two thirds of our breakfasts were provided by Julie, who was so nice. We enjoyed chatting with her about the local area. The food was good and set us up for our busy days. We met Kim in housekeeping one day when we stopped by midafternoon. Our room was always spotless and looked as if we had only just arrived. The staff at the front desk were helpful and accommodating. One gentleman even arranged to have housekeeping launder a few shirts for ...

«Modern, clean hotel, large rooms with seating area, large bathroom with lovely fluffy white towels, super king sized bed with crisp white sheets. Air conditioning throughout the hotel is a bonus but what really makes this hotel special is all the staff who are friendly and helpful. Extra £5 pp per day if you want cooked breakfast but well worth it as the choice is good.»

«Beautiful location with stunning views. The room was contemporary and well equipped. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the many choices of beers and wine. Ample parking with easy access.
My only negative with the room is that the shower cubicle and bathroom could do with some maintenance by way of grouting and sealing, as there was quite a bit of mould in the shower. If you are a light sleeper, you may be woken up by the guests below using ...

«On arrival the reception was awful with staff unable to access records but their attitude was very off hand towards us. The room was clean but badly set up. For instance, the double bed was only accessible from one side; there was nowhere for storage of cases etc. and the only area to hang clothes was a row of five hooks, three of which overhung the box on which the kettle and cups etc. were kept; the shower cubicle was missing one of its two doors; the sink in the toilet was so restricted by a ...

«Attended a wedding in Crewkerne and stayed here for three days. No breakfast at the hotel, but there are grocery stores and a Wetherspoons right around the corner. Pizza Hut across the street. Good complimentary selection of instant coffee and tea, together with a kettle at the room. The standard of the building was a little bit old but perfectly decent, the room was reasonably spacious, and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff!
Public transport in the area is a bit hit and miss, and ...
