«For our 1st trip to Lincoln the Duke William Hotel was perfect for location - we struggled with parking but in the end we got one, probably due to it being lunchtime on Fathers Day & a live concert in town. We had early check-in & only had to wait for 10/15 minutes whereby we were provided with a coffee. Room was great, very clean & comfortable, perfect for a night, fab bathroom space. We had a drink in the bar & my partner said that the homemade Martini Espresso was very nice & shes very fussy ...

«Property bore no resemblance to the picture on the website. Outside area full of weeds. Paint peeling off building and stairs. Window blinds filthy and mouldy. Washbasin tiny. No soap or toiletries. No bedside table or bedside light. No chair. No hangers in cupboard which had a door hanging off its hinges. Kettle useless and wouldn’t boil. No breakfast offered. Door only closed by a Yale lock so insecure »

«Fantastic lodge, clean, warm and quiet. Quick replies to questions. You don't need to message about parking or a code to get in. Wait for a email an hour after booking. If booking at short notice your name won't be on the room list so you have to phone them. Only downside. Fridge and microwave with cutlery downstairs. »

«Dirty windows ripped curtains dull interior had job fiddling the Hotel, could do with a good clean over all I am very surprised that Expedia have not visited it and seen for yourself the state of the place. Did stay the night would not let our dog stay there TERRIBLE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE »

«Got to the hotel to be told that there was not a room reserved for me. Apparantly the owner had stopped using Hotel.com in September, so was not expecting me. I could not be relocated as it was Lincoln Christmas Market, and all hotels were full. I therefore had to do the return journey all the way home, so wasted 4 hours and half a tank of petrol. Was told I would get a total refund to my mastercard, but then received a credit note instead.»
