Lovely holiday home close to the water

Lovely house located 250 meters from the North Sea and within short distance to both Sneglehuset and Wærket, which includes a sports hall, playground, and swimming pool in the same building. Tenants in the house have free access to Wærket. The house has 3 large bedrooms with King Size beds, of which 4 beds are adjustable. Large kitchen with EVERYTHING you need and in open connection to the living room. In the living room, there are two leather sofas and a 55-inch flat-screen TV. The bathroom is on the first floor, together with the 2 bedrooms, and contains, in addition to a toilet, a shower cubicle. From the living room, there is access to a lovely large terrace with views of the dunes and the sunset. In the basement, you will find, among other things, a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer.



We greatly appreciate that our guests feel comfortable and welcome in our house. Therefore, you will also find a well-equipped holiday home with everything needed to make daily life work. Among other things, a fully equipped kitchen with service and glasses for 12 people, microwave, good coffee/tea facilities, convection oven, and induction stove. Since we also enjoy using the house, you will find various dry goods ingredients in the cupboards and drawers, which you are welcome to use – however, we kindly ask you to buy new items for the next guest ;-) Bed linen and towels are also available for your use during your stay.

At JyllandsAkvariet, you can get REALLY CLOSE to the many quirky and colorful fish species that live in the North Sea and Limfjord. – Come, see, touch, follow, and help feed the fish that swim around and live well in the aquarium in Thyborøn. Maybe you dare to take a crab in your hand or stroke a shark’s back?

Sneglehuset (The Snail House)

Sneglehuset is located at the end of Sneglevej in Thyborøn. Everywhere, both inside and outside, the masonry and furniture are covered with intricate patterns, created from seashells and snail shells. This fantastic house was built by a single man throughout his long life.



Themis Skatepark

The old athletics stadium in Thyborøn, Vesterhavsgade 86, was transformed in 2018 into one of West Jutland's coolest skateparks. Here, children of all ages and other interested individuals can try their skills, whether on a skateboard or scooter – there is something for everyone, whether you're an expert or a beginner, you're welcome. Several experts, both national and international, have already tested the track and found it to be a super fun experience to visit the park. – So, remember your skateboard, scooter, helmet, and protective gear – next time you visit the town.



Ravhuset (The Amber House), Thyborøn Sea War Museum

Come in and experience relics from the time of World War I. See what was used in the battle on, under, and above the waters of the North Sea off the western coast of Jutland.
