«We had such a wonderful stay. This house was perfect and felt spacious for our family of four, plus two Shih Tzus. Our favorite area was the screened in patio with the hot tub- it was an awesome way to start and end each day. When we realized how close we were to Chicago (1 hr, 25 mins), we decided to do a Chicago day and drove out for a riverboat cruise. It was awesome being able to easily make a day of that.All around, wonderful stay.»

«The house itself is beautifully decorated, and well stocked! My young children loved running around the home exploring all the rooms and finding all the fun things there were to discover, like a jacuzzi tub (not a hot tub like the description says), puzzles, a tent, and fun outdoor games! The kitchen had everything we needed, and even had a grill with all the appropriate grilling tools. «We only were staying one night so we asked the host ahead of time if we could check in a few hours earlier to utilize all of the amenities. I was told to check back the day before which is understandable and the host would watch for my message. After messaging the night before, I never got a response except to say they were checking with the cleaning people. «Great place - no questions at all about how clean it is - just move your stuff in and start enjoying the place. Good location - and great restaurant within two blocks if you miss the Thistledown & Row restaurant you will have missed the best in the area. Place is quiet, comfortable we will be returning»

The house was perfect for us as 3 moms and daughters - each having our own space and the college girls getting the bunk room to share stories and giggle as much as they desired.
