If only looking for very rustic fish camp with roof overhead, then this is place for you. Family vacation is it not. «This was right on the lake with a dock. There is a wonderful, comfy porch overlooking the pretty lake where you can read and relax! Fishing is a must!! Good and fun. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation as advertised. There is a campfire setup which was a nice way to wind down. «We stayed for 3 nights and it was nice to be by the water but the cabin was very poorly maintained. Screen was hanging out of the door. There was very little in the way of cutlery (2 forks only). Trees need trimming so that renters can see the water. Nice to canoe the lake and watch the diving birds in the evenings.»

The website says check in after 4 pm, but the owner said that it is at 4 pm and as such she had to pay the money we paid her to the property manager to wait for us. there was no paper in the washroom which was very dirty. the rooms, dishes, appliances were all dirty. there was no gas for BBQ and no oven tray to cook the food we brought. the owner kept on blaming us for being late and that she did not make money out of our stay. ...

«The listing did not include much detail, looking back it should've been a warning sign. It's a beat up property that is part of a trailer park type of "resort" as they pompously put it on their signs at the location. Expect to be disappointed if you do book it.»

Unbelievable sunsets over the St. Lawrence from their HUGE entertainment deck. We were able to enjoy a campfire each night that was tended to by the property managers.
