«The accommodation was already booked . I received no check in details so we had to return home »

«This place is a gem. The owners are warm, welcoming and very helpful, and so are the rest of the staff. The place is reminiscent of the best of a traditional guest house, but with a modern clean feel. The amenities in the room were plentiful, and with the guests’ comfort in mind. The extra touches were much appreciated, as was the cleanliness and cotton sheets. The breakfast room is bright and airy, with white linen table cloths and pretty china. «The hotel serves its purpose very well. Clean, spacious rooms with all the items you need for a comfortable stay. Staff are not always on site as they share service with the pub/restaurant, but when they are, they are friendly and helpful. Overall very good experience. »

«Fine for an overnight stay. Receptionist handed the key wordlessly, beds were not great and there was a bit of noise but not enough to do me sleeping. You get what you pay for etc!»

«Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Great location and breakfast was great!»

«Full engelsk frokost. Nydelig!»

«Vi hadde et fint pinseopphold. Flott hage. Avslappende spa og kort vei til besøk ved kysten.»

«When we arrived we were put on the 2nd floor but the lift wasn't working thankfully the staff carried our suitcases up, got to our room seemed ok .nice and warm but what we didn't realise at the time the heating had just gone off and later we found out it comes on full with no chance of turning it off and your can't open the windows. «Everything was superb. See a fuller review on the Sykews Cottages website.»

«Terrible information about checking in the property, had to wait 2 hours and lots of phone calls to get the cabin number and key code. Better be inform before reaching the property that doesn't have bed sheets and toilet paper. Overall very nice accommodation with all the publicity it has on it.»

«Very nice location close to the harbour and ferry. Restaurant with an adequate menu for hotel guests only. Room has no airco but a fan instead.»

«The cottage was beautiful, well equipped, comfy, cosy, well situated and an absolute gem! Go no further than Frinton Escapes! My first time and the cottage was ideal. Close to ALL amenities in a close, so quiet but everything on its doorstep. Great history behind it too. If you do t go, you will be the loser! »

«Two adults stayed. Used both bedrooms. Very hot but able to open windows. Enjoyed the upstairs outside deck when we were there. Useful having washing machine. Plenty of street parking, but tight spaces & don’t rely on parking directly outside. Bathroom tiny but fit for purpose. Easy walk to beach front. Thank you »
