Just a niggle really but our room was too hot - a tiny dormer window in roof, in a very small room. Didn’t sleep well.

Very nice hotel with welcoming staff. Ideally situated for access to the town, restaurants and bars. We were only there for two nights but the service we received was good. we were lucky enough to have a deluxe room which was fantastic. My only one small criticism would be that for the standard of room we had (like a suite) i would have expected a mini bar. other than that you could not fault it.

The hotel is in a great location and everything is in walking distance.The staff were helpful and polite and friendly. We were upgraded on arrival due to a booking error, but this was resolved within a few minutes of being highlighted to the staff. The room was large with an ensuite shower, all was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The food in the dining room was lovely, and the drinks from the bar were reasonably priced. A lovely break, and i would not hesitate in returning in the future.

The hotel was beautiful and tastefully decorated. All staff were so welcoming and friendly. Tewkesbury is steeped in history and so pretty.

Lovely hotel
Overall really enjoyed the stay in this very old and beautiful building. Unfortunately Room 110 is directly above the store room, which is accessed at all times of the day and night (05:00 earliest, waking me up ). They need to slam the door shut, which shakes the entire room. Excellent service from all the staff I had dealings with, thank you!

A Very Pleasant two Night Stay
The room was very comfortable and felt very welcoming with even a welcome message on the notepad. Good quality and comfortable duvet, mini library, good coffee machine, good quality tea and good quality biscuits, even ducks for the bath and large fluffy towels. And most importantly, the decor was tasteful and everything spotless.

We love this hotel
This is our second stay at The Tudor House in Tewkesbury and we really like it there. We managed to park in the small hotel carpark with a blue badge. It was always very full. It seemed rather short staffed during this stay and they needed more staff serving in the bar in the morning (or a larger coffee machine) The staff were absolutely lovely and couldn't have done any more to make our stay comfortable. I cannot comment on the food as we didn't eat there. I was hoping to have brunch on the final (Saturday) morning, but they were not serving it that day.

Got our booking wrong but made up for it with free drinks and breakfast. Not much on site parking, only a short walk to alternative. Great central location, and a quiet room given we were on the front of the building on the high street.

Brilliant stay! Only one night (unfortunately) but the room was fantastic! Has obviously had a lot of money spent on it - as has the bathroom. Food was good, staff were incredibly helpful and service was great. Cannot praise enough.

Have stayed here a few times now. Great hotel in town. Lovely helpful staff, good food. Would benefit from a bigger car park but that's the town centre location really.

I needed to bring forward my booking for a family emergency. The staff went over and above to accommodate me, with empathy and practical help. It is my second stay here and I would absolutely stay again. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms are lovely, clean and in keeping with the beautiful old tudor building, while still having a luxurious feel with modern bathrooms. Thank you to all the staff.

Lovely 2 night stay.
Really nice period hotel. We arrived to find we had been upgraded and had been given the best room in the hotel. It really is a stunning room, with a 4 poster bed, and an amazing bathroom. The only blemish was the fact that the heating wasnt working during our 2 night stay. Not a major issue as the weather wasnt too bad. We only ate breakfast in the hotel, and the food was very nice and cooked well.

Nice stay!
Very pleasant stay with an excellent room in a detached building called The Gazebo with a great view of the water. Period building with lots of character. Clean room, and a small but very nice bathroom. Lots of steps so not good for those with bad knees or wheelchairs. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking behind the hotel is a tight squeeze but convenient.

There was a real sense of history in this excellent hotel. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a delicious meal in the stylish restaurant. We loved the old oak beams in our room and there were lots of extra touches which made it feel luxurious. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

The Tudor House Hotel was absolutely a wonderful experience for me. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable as I had many questions to ask! The food was incredible as was the rooms. The hotel is a work of art in and off itself. The rear near the canal is beautiful and serene. The hotel is steeped in history back to the 1400's. All in all, it was a beautiful experience for me as I had some of the quietest sleep of my life. I would recommend The Tudor House Hotel to anyone. My next trip in that area will naturally lead me back to this wonderful hotel.
