Ten Bits Ranch was, by far, the coolest place we’ve ever stayed. The cabin and property is absolutely adorable!! We (my son and I) stayed in the Post Office. It was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable, there was plenty of water provided, the wifi was strong, bathroom is roomy, and there was more than enough space for my son to sleep on his air mattress without taking up all the floor space.The owners contacted me several times before and during our stay with all the information needed. I cooked dinner in the Cantina one night and found everything needed (utensils, pans, stove, oven, etc.). Watching the sun set and rise was a beautiful experience. We brought in our own wood and had a lovely fire at the fire pit and enjoyed the beauty all around us. I cannot even express how much we loved this place and how highly we recommend it!! I’ll definitely be back!! The only negative which has nothing to do with the owners and would not deter me from going back is the North County Road. We had a storm (which is very rare) come through which made the road a little rougher and we had to pass through water running across the road in several spots. The only suggestion is to keep a watch on the weather and if you don’t have a vehicle that sits a little higher off the ground, wait for the storm to pass and watch water levels when entering the access . Do not let this one thing keep you from visiting this amazing place!

Accommodations were exceptional, 2 mile dirt road to the facility was not expected. Distance to the park was a little long. Kitchen facilities were great.

We had a great stay. The views were incredible, waking up and seeing the landscape each morning was a highlight of the trip. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and everything was well taken care of. It made for a relaxing and memorable stay. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Ten Bits Ranch. It was very clean and well kept. The community kitchen was fun and breakfast almost always involved talking with other guests and sharing experiences. We were there during the cold snap in January of 2026 when much of Texas was struggling with snow and ice. We had a fair amount of rain. The owners arrived and stayed throughout the bad weather and made sure electricity wasn’t a problem. We had 4WD and had no trouble getting around. If you like getting away from crowds, this is a great place to stay. We would highly recommend.

Great place! Peaceful with beautiful views. We had a campfire and watched the night skies. Our “cottage” was new and very clean. Very well done. Would definitely go back!

This cabin was excellent! The whole ranch was excellent! We actually stayed in The Law Office cabin. The hosts were very nice and attentive! They responded immediately to every text. The views in the morning and at night were breathtaking. If you are in the Terlingua area, definitely book a cabin at Ten Bits Ranch! It will not disappoint.

The view was sooo beautiful. The cabin was very clean and cozy… all the amenities were so nice. We ended up having a family emergency (everything was ok) but it was so nice to have such fast WiFi to take care of everything we needed. We felt secluded and we were definitely able to disconnect. Enjoyed our stay!!

This place is amazing! I’m not sure how I learned about Ten Bits but I will definitely be back. The National park is a short drive away. After a day of hiking and sightseeing, we enjoyed stargazing in the evening. The sunrise and the sunsets were spectacular. It’s a magical place for sure!
Sunsets and sunrises were my favorite.
The rooms are adorable.

Absolutely loved the setting. It’s off the main road in the mountains, absolutely stunning views and perfect starry night sky. The room (post office) was spacious with a king bed, fridge and microwave, very clean and appointed in the Texas style. Access to the fully stocked cantina was a huge bonus.

The road is a tough drive, but the property is worth it. Nails the old west town feel and while there aren't a ton of amenities, the shared kitchen is one we will be back for next vacation with the kids and family. Has a summer camp vibe I loved but with air conditioned room, hot water, and a comfortable room. Not too far from Terlingua and big bend national park. Roads can be a bit white knuckle after dark, but that's everywhere in this part of Texas. For the price probably the best value around.
