Great Stay
Had a great time staying at this hotel! Amazing activities and food, and you really get to relax and enjoy workshops and activities if you want to. Star Gazing was amazing, we had a few clouds, but the guide made the best out of it with digital presentations and we were still able to look at many of the stars. The staff as well was always welcoming and made our stay for the better. A special thanks to the new employee Sergio, Adrian, Magda (part of entertainment crew) and Alejandro in the bar! Also, the shows in the evening were such a joy at you really feel free to join whatever you want to during the day and evening. Would absolutely recommend this hotel regardless if you want a relaxing vacation or more active one! The only downside was that sometimes the food in the buffet wasn’t always as fresh, but the chefs shifted it out here and there so if you had a bit of time to wait you would get fresh food. Also, alternative for gluten free food was good, but could be a bigger variety. Overall very nice stay. Many thanks - from guys from Norway 😊

Vi hadde ett flott opphold på Santos, med god mat og god service. Det eneste som var minus var gourmet restauranten. Maten var faktsisk bedre i hovedrestauranten .

Vi har en ukas timeshare i Royal Tenerife Country Club (Golf del Sur) og ville bli på Tenerife i to uker. Derfor bodde vi i Sandos. Det var en god del vind mens vi bodde i Sandos slik at vi kjørte ofte til Los Christianos og jeg trente golf i Gold del Sur. Det var et prisverdt opphold (good value for money).

Hyggelig betjening
Arkitektonisk og desigmessig var hotellet en perle med et stort og variert hotellområde. Hotellet ligger i utkanten av urbaninisajonen San Blas, men med kort gangavstand til byen Los Abrigos (liten, men koselig). Kort avstand til flyplass Sør. Flyene kommer innover hotellet i lav høyde. Utendørs høres dette godt, men med vinduer/dører lukket, er det ikke sjenerende inne. Flyene var ikke noe problem for oss - snarene tvert i mot. Morsomt å se disse på nært hold. Store rom med alle bekvemmeligheter. Ekstremt bra renhold! Vi hadde to store senger satt sammen (240 cm bredde). TV med mange kanaler. Maten var svært variert og bra. Vinene i "all inclusive" var så bra at det ikke var grunn til å be om annet. Rødvin, hvitvin, rose, cava - alle av kjent merke. Mineralvann, øl, drinker, cocktails ad libetum. Svære kake- og dessertbord. Frukt og is. Alt! Flotte bassengområder som lå i terrasser. Egen arealer ved basseng og i restauranter reservert for voksne. Hver kveld var det show. Dette var kanskje det eneste vi ikke syntes var helt på topp. Dette er nok et forholdsvis stille og rolig hotell. kanskje ikke noe for ungdom som ønsker disco og "håll i gong". Vi hadde leiebil hele uken. Dette kan anbefales. For oss var dette hotellet perfekt, og vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Fantastisk opphold - svarte til alle forventninger
Vi fikk det vi hadde bestilt og mer til. Fine rom, komfortable senger, fin utsikt. God service, og konseptet all inclusive, overgikk våre forventninger. Stedet ligger vakkert til, og har mye å velge blant. Flere svømmebasseng av ulik karakter, 2 oppvarmede og 2 med saltvann. Man kan sole seg på stranden rett over veien, men bading skjer på eget ansvar. Bølger og mye sten og klipper er en farlig kombinasjon. Vi er kjempefornøyd med hotellet Sandos San Blas, og vil gjerne komme tilbake. Veldig god mat fra store bufeer, og mye godt drikke. Artig å bli utstyrt med grønne armbånd som gav disse rettighetene.

Confortable, well-maintained hotel
I was well-pleased with the hotel. The room I had was large, comfortable and well-equipped. The hotel is large with numerous swimming pools, all very well maintained. The hotel is just next to a rocky beach, but there is a much nicer beach within a short drive. The hotel includes a good museum about the local history and environment, and they also do a good tour of the adjacent San Blas environmental reserve. It is situated close to Tenerife's South airport. There was some aircraft noise, but I did not find it intrusive. I would prefer it if guests could choose themselves what to have included in the price. I don't want 3 full meals a day, and would like to eat other places for variety. As with most hotels offering buffet meals, I found the food good (and there was a wide selection) - but not great. I stayed only 4 nights, and am sure I would have become bored eating the same place if I had been staying longer. There is a well-maintained gym. Internet connection is part of the all-inclusive deal - something I applaud as having to pay for internet is something that annoys me (it's like you making you pay extra for the TV, I think). However, I found the wi-fi internet to be a bit slow and unreliable. When I complained at reception they told me I could use a cable instead (and lent me the appropriate cable), then things worked fine. I think it would be a good idea if receptionists advised guests at check-in about the cable possibility.

Vi er meget tilfredse med oppholdet. God mat og drikke, god service, mange aktivitetstilbud og stort sett god underholdning. Tilrettelagt slik at alt fra barnefamilier til pensjonister kan trives på stedet, uten å måtte forstyrre hverandre. Ikke et sted for partyungdom.

Recently stayed at this hotel for 4 days celebrating a special birthday as a girls holiday and overall we were impressed, the facilities that we visited frequently (pool and bar!) were indeed 5* including being spoilt with some impressive live singing and dancers during the day. Victoria was absolutely amazing and could not have done enough for us, thank you Victoria. The al a carte restaurant was amazing and the staff were indeed 5*, as well as the cocktail & coffee making We couldn’t fault the location with it only being 15mins away from the airport and little further away from Los Christianos & Playa Da Américas We did come across some negatives, the rooms were big and spacious but the service let us down, the tea/coffee station was not refilled on a daily basis even after we asked reception. We ordered an iron which took 4 phone calls and still didn’t arrive after 50mins. The hotel boasts about being 5* but we found all the bars closed at 12am, even though it was advertised 2:30am We were on a girls holiday and were told to keep the noise down on several occasions, given our trip was out of school holidays there was little risk of disturbing children. Probably the most disturbing experience was the courtesy room, where we could shower and change after check out, being 5* we expected basic amenities, such as towels, which were not provided, the smell and basis hygiene of the area was quite disturbing.

Nice property, good selection of outdoor pools. Good buffet. Nice staff. Room was a good size, decent cleanliness but quite a few things that needed fixing (some of which were fixed over the course of our stay). Bed hadn’t been made up as a double as requested and took a long time to rectify.

Booking here was a mistake - this resort caters to millennials with children and is not particularly friendly to late career adults. No dining that wasn’t an IKEA style buffet. Happily, it was a short stay enroute to another destination. We won’t be back - tourists are generally unwelcome here in our experience.

Birthday trip March 2024 We stayed 4 nights at the Barceló Tenerife hotel for my husbands early birthday trip The hotel is only 15 mins from airport The checkin was really quick as we checked in online before arrival The staff at reception were really nice we had the standard room which was very spacious and with balcony area which was lovely rooms were cleaned every day the heated pool was amazing just by the bar area We were all inclusive Drinks were all original and not watered down. Bar staff were really nice the food was really good with plenty of options to choose from my husband and I would like to say a very big thank you to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful and we will definitely returning again.

Good location and nice staff. Hotel is getting a bit dated. Not a 5 star but a 4 star. We took the breakfast and dinner package. Breakfast was repetitive but fine. We decided to dine out at the local restaurants as the buffet had no ambiance. Not even any music. We would stay again but not take the dinner package.

Beautifully designed hotel with lovely planting of local flowers and shrubs. Rooms comfortable with good views from the balcony. Great swimming pools and marvellous location next to the sea. Restaurants served good food with lots of choice. Staff invariably friendly. Amusing and entertaining evening shows. One or two concerns: our beds were on wheels which tended to move around despite the brakes being on. Annoying drilling noise by the adult pool while some kind of repair work was being done. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Nice hotel - not ideal for disable people
Nice hotel near to the airport and the main resorts - only downside it was set on a hill. The entrance was at the top of the hill with the rooms cascading down each side of the pools to the main buffet restaurant at the bottom of the hill Which meant a lot of walking from one end to another (we had a car) which was parked at the top There are lifts but not directly to the buffet restaurant and not in each block - so we had to walk to the next block (away from the restaurant) to get a lift and then had to walk down the ramp ways to to the buffet Not easy to work out where best to go… We had to eat late as the entertainment was next to the restaurant- outside (take a jumper) so that we didn’t have to keep walking backwards and forwards to the room.. There are no disable parking spaces (made into electrical points) so it’s on a first come basis…if you can get a space. There was a buggy to help people around - it was a two seater that they crammed three people into - we only used it once as it wasn’t safe… On other point the food was just ok…if you went later in the evening then some of the main items had finished…like the joints of meat…there wasn’t enough staff to cope with the numbers and we where left waiting for drinks - felt really sorry for them…..

Das Hotel ist wirklich richtig schön und durch die flächige Verteilung trifft man außer am Pool, selbst wenn das Hotel ausgebucht ist, auf wenig Leute und hat viel Privatsphäre. Das All-inclusive Buffet hat jeden Tag ein neues Thema und bietet eine große Auswahl. Das Hotel bietet täglich Workshops oder Aktivitäten an. Auch der Sparbereich ist angenehm. Alles wird über eine App organisiert, soweit ich weis ist diese nur auf Englisch, aber sehr übersichtlich und selbst erklärend. Die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind schön groß, sauber und mit offenem Badezimmer, das aber geschlossen werden kann. Je nach Windrichtung hört man die Flugzeuge landen oder starten, diese fliegen auch über das Hotel hinweg, da der Flughafen mit dem Auto nur 30 min entfernt liegt. Wir haben dies aber nicht als störend war genommen. Im Zimmer hat man nichts gehört. Das Hotel können wir also nur weiterempfehlen würden jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub machen. Eines der besten Hotels, in dem wir je waren. Wir waren Ende Oktober, Anfang November da, das Wetter war sehr gut, man konnte im Meer schwimmen und die Sonne genießen.

Really lovely hotel. Everywhere was very clean and all staff were happy to help and couldn’t do enough for you. The food was all very nice with a good selection to choose from. The room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable and very large! Only negative I can think of is that the pool was freezing to the point no one was in it. Overall though it was a really good holiday and would definitely reccomend.

Nice for a few days away with friends
Nice hotel right on the seafront, with lots of space. We met with some friends for a couple of days who were there for a golf break for 2 weeks. The food was ok, although a bit repetitive (we upgraded to AI). The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and clean, and ours was in a very quiet location on the 1st floor, more or less behind the Breeze bar that closes at 6pm. Would happily stay again, but just for a few days.

The cleaning was terrible, I used the hydromassage in the room and contracted fungus, on my feet and in private parts. Zero disinfection. The "All inclusive" service was also not really good. The snacks palce closes at 5pm and then you have to wait until the dinner time to eat something, or walk through the whole hotel to the reception just to ask a key to unlock a fridge for a sandwich
