«This home is such a gem! A historic home that is updated with many modern conveniences. We’ve been to MANY AirB&B’s and this home was probably the best equipped we’ve been in! Convenient to Boothbay and lots of downeast inlets and harbors. Very quiet, but close to groceries, food and farm stands. Our only regret was not staying longer- we would have loved to grill and use the fire pit!»

«The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!»

You can tell this cottage was designed with intention and thought behind it, it provided us with more than what we needed. It was clean, comfortable, and so cozy! «Cabin was as advertised, very homey. Had one very minor problem with a faucet and literally within 5 minutes of notifying owner, someone was there to take care of it. And it took only 5 minutes. Wonderful service. Have recommended to friends.»

Not the host's fault...just is what it is. It's simple, but look at a map before you arrive and you'll understand.»

«Would have loved to have more time to stay at the property and enjoy the lake - it was beautiful! The house itself was fine - my friend described it as a giant shed. But there needs to be pillow protectors on the pillows - it sucks when you're a non-smoker, haven't brought your own pillows from home, put your head down late at night to finally go to sleep and get the stench of cigarette smoke. I don't believe anyone had been smoking inside but I do believe smokers had rented the property before ...
