«Food was great, staff very helpful, bar and dining room very tidy and clean, good range of drinks, both alcoholic and soft although I am out of touch with prices so had a bit of a shock. This is not a negative, just reality. Plenty of parking and convenient at the rear to avoid stairs. Some areas are in need of decorating such as stairwell and corridors however not terrible. Outside areas need tidying around the back of the building but the beer garden/smoking area was good. Wheel chair ...

«The Globe is a lovely old inn and the floors and walls were all quirky and a little wonky - all part of it's charm. I had a lovely bright room with a wide windowsill overlooking the main street. The adjoining wet room had everything I needed - including fluffy white towels. I had 2 wonderful nights' sleep in a comfy bed with fresh white - good quality - linen. The staff were friendly and genuinely helpful. They helped me with my bags - even carrying them out to the car for me (I am disabled) ...
