«lovely stay, staff were so friendly and helpful. we actually got stuck in our car around the park the morning of check out, we called the lodge and they sent some guys out to help us get unstuck, then let us shower even though check out had passed. also great food, wonderful service, excellent rooms and great views. can't recommend this place highly enough.»

«We had a wonderful stay at Elephant Lodge. The staff were friendly and very attentive, the pool was clean, the food was excellen and the rooms were superb. The most amazing thing was the wildlife we could see and hear from the pool, restaurant and our own rooftop terrace. We skipped a trip to the park because the surroundings were so spectacular. Would like to come back very soon!»

«They did not have our booking(pre paid) which is understandable somewhat because they are out in the middle of no where, but there was no attempt on the staffs part to help fix the problem. we ended up leaving 1.5 hours later than we wanted and paid with a Card(got a refund from Hotels.com). the hotel needs to have better service. The refund from hotels.com was easy and service on there side great.»

«This is a challenging review to write. The property is lovely and the staff was kind-though limited in their ability to resolve the issues. If you are looking for secluded, beautiful and restful, this could be the place for you. However it is located far from any town and further from many of the sites we chose to visit. It was billed as the “perfect location” from which to explore Tarangire and Manyara NPs, but in truth it is a couple of hours from either one of these. Further, they seem only ...
