«This was an exceptionally nice venue to stay at. David and Maria are gracious, lovely hosts. We highly recommend The Old Eltham Post Office. We will be back.»

«Julie was wonderful.»

«We enjoyed this property’s warm fireplace that heated the house, decks we could sit out on and enjoy the view. It’s seclusion and amenities including the continental breakfast. Had nice thick curtains for a good sleep in. We enjoyed the entertainment system watching dvd movies, and played some of the board games provided. The house is stylishly decorated. The house cat, named Kitten , is peaceful and loves her head massaged. We had a lovely stay. Thank you.»

«We really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were great and we were treated more like friends than guests. The city and all attractions were within walking or close driving distance. Highly recommended for other guests!!»

«Rachel was warm and welcoming. She could not do enough to help us and make recommendations of what to do and where to eat. We had an easy walk to most things and the Park across the road is amazing. If ever you go to New Plymouth you must stay at Hosking House.»
