«We enjoyed our short but very sweet night at Palazzo Privatera. We arrived on the heels of Cyclone Henry, so much of the town was shut down, but our host Alfio was extremely insightful and helpful. He showed us around this mideivel treasure, hosted a wonderful breakfast, and made our stay so comfortable! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the amazing property and town, but hope to return in the future to enjoy more of Mt Etna’s beauty and vineyards!»

«We had one of the largest rooms.
This property is close to everything. The brothers that own it are very nice and will help to arrange transportation and offer advice on places to eat and visit if you ask. The complimentary minibar was a nice surprise after a walk from the bus station.
The courtyard is nice too. Despite being in the centre of town the room was quiet. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again if visiting Taormina.»

«Good directions from hosts on getting there. Some of the streets are very narrow and should be avoided. Great old town. Bakery next door. Fascinating walk around the castle with amazing view. It also leads to a charming wine bar & wine shop.

«Det eneste vi angrer på var at vi ikke bodde der flere netter. Stranda er rett over veien, der det er perfekt for å bade.
