«The cottage was perfect for our needs and made exploring Inverness a breeze as it was an easy 10-15 min walk into the city along the river. «The house is located in a great location, just above the Market Brae steps, making it central to most places in the city center. The house is old, but very well kept. Two of the bedrooms are located on the second floor and a third, with its own bathroom, on the third. Stairs are a bit of a struggle, if you're not used to them, but not a huge issue. «Clava Cottage was cozy and homey, or homely as they say in the UK. Gregor was an excellent host, communicative and responsive. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable. The wood burning stove in the living room was especially nice given the unseasonably cool weather during our stay. The location was walkable to city centre and an Aldi, a Tesco, and a Lidl. The cottage was an excellent home base for our highland adventures. We had a lovely stay.»

«The property is a conveniently located, very clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious apartment. It also has a fantastic outlook north to the mountains and over the river and the south side of the city and the hills beyond. Getting in was easy and so was using the carpark. Highly recommended!»

«Combined 2 Days in Dornoch Castle Hotel with 5 Days at Cottage in Tain after the wedding. The cottage has been modernised but still has some original features. It is spacious, comfortable & well equipped with everything you could possibly need. If you enjoy baking, utensils are all there, including a Food Mixer. «This was the perfect location for our visit to Inverness as it is in a quiet and lovely neighborhood that is a walkable distance to everything. The apartment was spotless and well appointed. The washer was wonderful :-). I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Inverness. And, I would also recommend visiting Inverness. «It is right off the main rd and not on the water. Parking was confusing as was the washer/ dryer to operate. I would say this cottage was an ok place to stay. It’s safe and clean but we could not turn up the heat.»

«Loved my stay at Rose Cottage. Gregor was a great host...even left us 'bits and bobs' in the fridge for our arrival. The cottage is in such a convenient location so we had no trouble getting around without a car. Would definitely stay again!»

«Lovely apartment and everything there that you would need. Was not in favour of the sloping roof in the upstairs bedroom but could be avoided by relocating the bed so that the headboard faced the window. Only other criticism was lack of sockets in the kitchen. Kettle and toaster had to share the same socket other available sockets were at floor level where there was no counter space. A shelf along the opposite wall would eradicate that issue.»

«The cottage was perfect for our first couple of nights in Scotland. We explored sights in the highlands and came home each day to our cozy abode. We didn’t get a chance to try the awesome wood stove/cook top but it was a beautiful backdrop. Beds were comfy, shower had great pressure and beautiful grounds to explore or just look at. Check out Tarvie, just up the road, for your breakfast coffee, hot rolls and baked goods - their tablet is the best!»

«This house is amazing. Travel up the narrow lane and leave your cares behind. Don’t forget to close the gate! We loved our stay here. The house was well stocked with all the necessities. It was clean and surprisingly modern for such a remote spot. Easy access to Inverness, Cullodan, Loch Ness, the northern coast, and so much more. We would definitely stay here again! "Hotellet ligger ca 10 min med taxi utenfor Inverness sentrum i et fint villastrøk, men selve hotellet skuffer. Rommet var lite og en ubehagelig lukt av fukt og mugg slo mot meg da jeg åpnet døren. Resepsjonen er kun åpen til kl 22, taxi må vi bestille selv. Hyggelig dame i restauranten"
