Hoteller nær Sweetheart Abbey

«We stayed just the one night. The staff were very friendly and eager to provide good service. We enjoyed a pleasant drink on the lovely patio overlooking the river followed by a tasty meal in the bar. Breakfast was excellent . Our room was fairly basic with quite a small ensuite . The WiFi was good. We were pleased with our stay which represented good value.»

«Hotellet var sentralt plassert og servicen var prima. De gjorde endriner på sengeopplegget med et smil.»

«Et meget koselig og stillferdig hotell sentralt i Dumfries. Enestående eier og personale. Innbydende interiør og standard. Badet var nyoppusset og romslig. God seng. Frokosten utsøkt. Stor parkeringsplass. Frister abdolutt til gjentagelse!»

«Hjelpsom vertinne, men restauranten var stengt. Helt grei frokost. Ligger i ett rolig område av byen.»

«Fantastisk hotel god mat, Rene store fine rom og senger,»

«The hotel is very nice, with lovely rooms and beautiful surroundings. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful, although they often had to juggle multiple roles at once, which sometimes made them difficult to find. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay, and if I return to Castle Douglas, I would happily stay here again.»

«The only positive from our stay, if it didn’t Happen, would have actually been a blessing . The front desk agreed to help us check in later than possible by leaving key in lockbox. Unfortunately, same desk clerk told us hotel was in Dumfries which has a road with a similar which led u s to council housing at midnight. Once we discovered the error we have another 1 hour 15 minute ride to “hotel”. Upon arriving, key was in lockbox, room was large but beds were from the 19th century, incredibly ...

«Unfortunately another disappointing night at the Inn. Went for a meal, again staffing issues with chefs resulting in quite a few things not being available. I thought there was a wedding function going on as every now and then loud music would blast through the restaurant area but it was just the music coming from the kitchen area as the doors swung open and closed. Sadly in need of a makeover.»

«Arrived for 4pm check in called two different numbers no response on either , eventually got someone and got checked in at 5 pm place was freezing and was informed that the boiler was broken so no heating or hot water, place looked like it was decorated back in the 70's and never been touched since , was told to leave out door open and they'd put a heater in room for us which thankfully we didn't as was later told that place is used to home the homeless and immigrants so both our friends and ...

«A great location with Lovely staff:)»

«This is a cracking flat within a short walk of Dumfries town centre. From the outside, the flats don’t look too inspiring, but it’s clearly been renovated recently and it’s been done really nicely. The two rooms are pretty much identical doubles, and the living room/kitchen is a good size. Nice views of the river from most rooms, and a lovely small balcony coming off the main living area. Would definitely come back if in the area.»
