«I had a fantastic couple of days in Falmouth staying at Membly Hall Hotel whilst settling my daughter into the local university. My room was spacious and immaculate, the staff were welcoming and very friendly, and the included breakfast ranged from continental style to full English. I sat in the sea facing sun room for a few hours and enjoyed a sandwich platter from the bar menu. Happy to recommend this hotel for solo travel, as it was really comfortable and friendly.»

«The hotel looked okay from the outside and surrounding area was as expected. The room was very outdated, there was blood on and under our toilet seat and mould in the shower. There was also no internet in our room.
Breakfast room was being renovated so I am unsure if this impacted the choice of breakfast, but it was poor. There was also construction workers using foul language in front of my kids as we were sat down having our breakfast.
Pool area was okay and the kids enjoyed a swim.

«Great position. Our room overlooked the harbour so we had great views. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. It’s close to the main streets as well so ideally situated. Breakfast was great really tasty and ample. We would stay again for sure.»

«Lovely harbour view room. Modem, very clean with comfortable beds. When we first checked in, they're was a sewage smell inthe bathroom but this cleared!
Staff were very friendly and thought the breakfast on both days was excellent. »

«Lovely old inn within minutes' walk of the town pubs and eateries. Be aware though, the shortest route is via the steep steps aptly called 'Jacob's ladder' across the road. Hotel staff were very friendly, incredibly friendly towards the dogs making it the perfect place to stay. Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. Will stay again.»

Even randomly met the owners in a harbourside pub - their son runs the hotel and is the breakfast chef . Truly a lovely family business. »

«Very nice property, beautiful views of the beach and lake from the property, nice garden area to sit and relax. Parking for two cars was really helpful. Truro and Falmouth were good places to visit. Trelissick Garden National Trust was also a good place to visit, especially if you are National trust members, the gardens there are beautiful. »

«Fantastic 3 day break. Beautiful location, really 60s/70s inspired quirky boutique hotel with wonderful staff and excellent food. Highly recommended. «The cottage was lovely. It had no Wi-Fi or 4g signal so planning the next days agenda was impossible until you drove out of the site. Also apart from the on site bar (the staff were wonderful) there was no where to walk easily to get something to eat. »
