Escape to the unspoiled Istrian Peninsula and relax in the charming House Papinka! This private house for 6, in the village of Markoci is the ideal holiday destination for a family or friends looking to explore this beautiful region or just relax by the private pool.

The contemporary villa has traditional touches, which make it feel like a home from home.
On the ground floor guests will find an elegant living room with exposed wooden beams and some open stonework on the walls. It is furnished with a corner sofa, flat-screen TV and coffee table. The spacious kitchen/diner includes a dining table with chairs and a well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffee machine and a fridge/freezer.

House Papinka is blessed with lovely exterior space which encourages life al fresco. The shaded veranda acts as an outdoor dining room and kitchen, thanks to a large table with benches, a gas hob and a BBQ. There is a second seating area underneath a vine, with a charming old well. The private pool is on a higher level with sun loungers where guests can relax after a refreshing swim.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is on the first floor and has a double bed, a single bed and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a single bed and a wardrobe.
A balcony runs along the front of the house outside both bedrooms. There is a table with chairs where guests can enjoy a cup of coffee in quiet surroundings.

Bathroom
The tiled bathroom is appointed with a shower, washing machine, basin and WC.

Location
On the edge of the village of Markoci, the house is in a quiet location. The town of Labin is just 13 minutes away and Rabac, on the coast, is 22 minutes. There are many activities close by for all ages. Visitors can hire bicycles in Rabac; hike through stunning countryside; hire a speedboat or sailing dinghy and go horse riding. The nearby beaches such as Plaza Girandella (27 minutes) have crystal clear water, ideal for scuba diving.

For self-catering Labin’s daily market is a treasure trove of the freshest local fish, vegetables and fruit. There is also a supermarket in the town, banks, pharmacies and all the amenities necessary for a relaxed holiday.

The ancient city of Pula (1 hour) makes a fascinating day trip. A visit to its stunning Roman amphitheatre is a must. There are many other Roman sites to explore, as well as the seafront and antique harbour.

Pula International Airport is just 50 minutes away.
