«Beautiful hotel even looking through storm Claudia! The food was first class in the restaurant with some of the best chicken I've tasted. The room was lovely and little touches like light coming on when you opened the cupboard & a night light in the bathroom added to the stay. Bed was soft and comfortable. Very pleasant stay with lovely staff and if we ever go up that was again, definitely high on our list to stay: just hope the weather is better :-)»

«The Barns Hotel is a great place to stay. Staff are very accommodating and friendly, room was comfortable and clean and there is free parking. The restaurant served reasonably priced food and the breakfast was lovely. The manager kept the bar open until we had all returned from a local festival. We would stay here again in the future 😁 »

«The hotel's location was beautiful due to the backdrop of the trees and hills and on the river Severn. Internally the hotel is very traditional with old features, fixtures and fittings. Single glazed windows led to it being cold in some areas, especially our room and creaking floors. Meals and beers were good and staff very helpful and polite. We wouldn't stay again but that's not a reflection on the hotel, it is just us wanting to stay in other hotels in different locations. Fully recommend ...

«A converted girls' school, this is a quirky kind of a hotel. It does not look much like the pictures from the website - it feels more like a B&B. The interior lay-out is weird, but charming. The staff were nice, the room was quiet, there was an extra heater which was very much appreciated given the cold spell, and it was clean. The bed was hard and squeaky, the pillows were hard and flat, and the bedding was flat. The neighbourhood is not the best - safe enough (they say) in the day, but take a ...
