«We booked this home for a short Anniversary getaway near where some family and friends are. We love the upnorth relaxed feel. Everything was as stated on the booking website. Clean, beautiful, cozy place. Loved the back deck area and river view. Everything was very nice and check in and out was super easy. Would love to stay here again sometime. Bed and furniture was comfy and we had everything we could of ever needed for our stay. Thanks so much!»

«This is our 2nd stay at this property as we have celebrated New Years with friends two consecutive years. Everything was as good as the first time. No snow this time and lake wasn't quite frozen, but the property was still fantastic. There is so much space between the 2 buildings that even with a large group plenty of beds for everyone. Kids (and adults) love the game room.»

«Great little cabin for a quick getaway! The cabin was very clean and the beds comfortable. Our lab enjoyed exploring the yard and we enjoyed a bonfire, while grilling steaks. Nice and close to town. The location couldn't have been better. Excellent communication from our host throughout our stay. We'll definitely be back again!»

«small but charming , out of the hustle and bustle. great getaway for a few days.suggest doing the waterfalls close by .nice hiking . some local bars and supper clubs. fall colors are a sight to see.caught a perch off dock. best for couple and maybe small kids. cabin has all you need as well, owners very responsive to questions.»

«Our group did a 3-day weekend fishing trip in Oconto. The 'KK Lodge' cabin is in a perfect location from the boat launch. We had ample space for parking and recharging our boat batteries for the next day's trip out on the water. The property is beautiful, has plenty of sleeping areas, and an extremely well-stocked bathroom and kitchen!»

«The property is on Wheeler Lake, which is a great lake for fishing and watersports. There's a sandy public beach nearby that you can visit for $5 per person, and the boat launch is fairly close. Lakewood is five minutes away. The cottage is older, but has been nicely remodeled with two newer bathrooms, a modern kitchen and numerous other updates. There's a nice deck with a table and six chairs overlooking the lake, so we spent most of our time outside. The dining table only sat four, but it is ...

«The cabin was just adorable and the owner was gracious enough to provide a welcome basket of goodies and supplies. The only problem we encountered, which was absolutely not a huge deal for us, was that the WiFi password was not provided. We possibly located it but what we found did not work for any of the available networks. Again not a deal breaker but if this is important to you make sure to discuss before booking. Also to be noted, the cabin is VERY VERY secluded. Being a woman with 2 small ...

«Everything about this place is amazing. It is the definition of Northwoods and has a fantastic history behind it. We really enjoyed the small perks that it came with, toiletries that may have been forgotten, first aid equipment, baking supplies, games and movies. The TV was a little difficult to figure out, as someone who doesn't use cable. We are definitely making plans to come back in the future.»
